Small Town Story - Game Thread

Tracker - Jouzou. Edited, thanks

I really liked this game, but it got a little too inactive. You could have done something to spice it up.

And your GMing was very nice.

I started out as a townie, but was converted around night 7.

Yeah, inactivity was a big problem, from beginning. Some characters never used their abilities :(

And after Zack left forums, there was no single active player at mafia side... so mafia "restarted" the game only after The Bake replaced NedimNapoleon.

Robbiecon was really active, so I thought that cult will win. Especially when at first night he converted TaillessKangaroo!
But later he was a little bit unlucky. According to the rules, during the whole game he could convert only one mafia member. And IIRC he tried to recruit every one of them!

I thought that cult will have many members, but there never have been more than one cultist at the same time...

Gender mechanics does not grow to its potential.
There were moments when people who survived attack had really interestoing informations, but no one used it - for example, someone was attacked by misterious male; at this moment of game the only male other than him was The Bake from mafia...

I do not think that gambit with recruiting and then lynching ClassicalHero went good for cult. And, despite my predictions that I made after Zack's leaving, mafia won

I think that at the town side there were 3 problems:
1. not using info... at some days there was no discussion at all. Lynch with one vote!!! (lucky one)
2. not using abilities (some people)
3. loosing three power roles during first 3 days, especially loosing policeman at night one! (easier a lot for mafia) Also... lynching own mayor

Knew robbiecon was up to something when he didn't bring up he was attacked :P

I don't understand why Robbiecon voted for. If he had voted for some other player I would have followed that vote so he would be able to control the vote from there on after. That was one thing i did not understand.

Thanks for the game, Jarrema. Good hosting and an interesting setup. The inactivity was unfortunate, but I think that was not the host's fault in this case.

So... that is the end of my first game

thank you all for participation. I learned a lot, especiall about how unpredictable things can happen during the game.
In my next game I will think about doing something that would "activise" all players; that is a thing that I am not happy about - and I think it is at least partially my mistake
