Smileys gone AWOL

This is the second time this happened, but THIS TIME i took screenshots.

The first time got replaced by .

This time, the smug smiley changed to:

Note: it changed everywhere, i just picked 2 random places.

What version of Opera are you using? I just loaded that page with 9.00 and it loaded with the correct smilies.

Well, like I said, it works for me. :shrug: I assume you've done the usual? Clear cache, reboot, sweep for spyware, etc?

Not really , i just closed the session and started again.
Like last time, everything got back to normal ... but i posted to see if other users experienced smthing like this.

Looks like Opera had problems rendering the images. Cloud Strife's avvie didn't load either.

Does this just happen here, or on other sites as well?

I don't recall image "switching" on other sites ...
Not loading images maybe, but i have a very bad connection, so that might be one of the reasons.
