Smolensk crash new findings

don't have a cat in this fight or whatever it is but what exactly Putin gains by having the Polish President killed , Poland getting out of NATO , giving up America's to-be-offensive-at-will Missile Shield , or some financial profit ?

Traces of TNT.. Hard to tell how much this matters if you're not into forensics or something

Is there any reputable source reporting this? I've only heard about this through Polish/Russian sources, not on any of the English/German/Dutch news sources I follow.

Sounds like faulty equipment used for the 'TNT' testing.

Smolensk jet crash: Polish prosecutors deny explosives claim

...

He also pointed out that equipment used to detect TNT could react in a similar way to soil, perfume or everyday objects.

I think this is ground breaking.Something did not feel right when that plane crashed. He was the leader of Poland.Like any head of state they check that plane from top to bottom.Must have been a double agent....

things are getting wierd...

I read the report of crash investigation.
The plane was ok, the reason of catastrophe was dense fog and (possibly) pressure on the pilot from high authorities - it was dangerous to land in such weather conditions and plane was supposed to go to the reserve airport. The pilot didn't see the trees until the moment when it was too late to avoid them.

As for conspiracy theories surrounding that story, it's just inevitable when something like that happens. I remember similar kind of speculations about Kursk being sunk by NATO submarine.

Probably constant quarrels on Polish political scene between the ruling camp (PO + PSL) and the party (PiS) of that deceased President.

And, by the way, not only the President was killed but also - for example - the bulk of Polish Armed Forces Leadership, including these men:

===============================

Gen. Franciszek Gągor, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland

Lt. Gen. Tadeusz Buk, Commander in Chief of the Land Forces of the Republic of Poland

Gen. Andrzej Blasik, Commander in Chief of the Air Forces of the Republic of Poland

Fleet Admin. Andrzej Karweta, Commander in Chief of the Polish Navy

Lt. Gen. Włodzimierz Potasiński, Commander in Chief of the Special Forces of the Republic of Poland

Gen. Bronisław Kwiatkowski, Operational Commander of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland

Maj. Gen. Kazimierz Gilarski, Commander of the Warsaw Garrison

===============================

And more:

The complete list of passengers is very strange.

It's either a plot or a really unfortunate accident that so much of the leadership of Poland was wiped out at one fell stroke.

Ah see. This was why they were all on that plane:
the plane, which had been carrying top Polish officials to a commemoration of the Soviet massacre of Polish officers at Katyn during World War II,
Rather ironic, though.

On the other hand:
A key witness in the case of the Polish Tu-154 airliner crash near Smolensk in 2010 has been found dead at his home near Warsaw. Investigators think the witness had killed himself, according to an official of the district prosecutor’s office, Dariusz Sliepokura
Doesn't this always happen? A key witness always seem to commit suicide. Happens more often than you might think in the UK, too. (Once, that I know of, anyway.)

Nah. I suspect secret service manipulation. Assassination made to look like suicide. Or engineered suicide. Or suicide as "the best option you've got, chum".

It's what Lenin would have wanted:

An artist is commissioned to create a painting celebrating Soviet-Polish friendship, to be called "Lenin in Poland." When the painting is unveiled at the Kremlin, there is a gasp from the invited guests; the painting depicts Nadezhda Krupskaya naked in bed with Leon Trotsky. One guest asks, "But this is a travesty! Where is Lenin?" To which the painter replies, "Lenin's in Poland."

Ah right. Lenin's wife. So.... um.... ?

(It's a good joke. I think I get it.)

And recently it turns out that almost all the bodies were in wrong coffins... For example President Kaczorowski, Anna Walentynowicz, etc.

It also turns out that bodies were dirty & naked (and in 2010 Russians claimed that they washed & dressed them before putting into coffins) and inside some bodies - after recent exhumations - rubber gloves were found... (Russians who carried out autopsies left their gloves inside the bodies - another proof of "Russian professionalism" - but one of Polish Sovietologists said that leaving gloves inside the body after autopsy was - in the USSR - an expression of contempt).

Not to mention that Russians washed the wreck of the crashed plane soon after the crash (maybe to remove traces of explosives?).

Soon after the crash Russia also claimed that the recording from the camera which was inside the air traffic control tower in Smolensk "got missing" ...

Air-traffic controlers were also investigated two times - because after the first investigation Russians claimed that their testimonies were "not suitable" (or something like this, I don't remember exactly because it was back in 2010). So they were interrogated for the second time.

In general Russia is prevaricating so much and making so much problems that it is very probable that they want to hide something.

Do not offend Rushen proffeshionalism we know very vell how to dissect lechs and do not need ze material of procedje to teach us how to execute ze procedje.

And one more thing.

There was already an assasination attempt of President Lech Kaczynski before 2010.

It was in Georgia in 2008 (during the Georgian-Russian war) - convoy with Presidents Kaczynski & Saakashwili was fired at by unknown snipers.

Fortunately neither of the Presidents was injured because Georgian military forces were escorting them and reacted quickly.
