Never tried.. Don't think I will either. At least not snails... I think shark is the most 'unusual' dish I've had.

Never. There are laws against that type of thing.

Snails are good food! And very easy to prepare! Put them in the oven with garlic and butter for a few minutes... That's all.

I have eaten frogs only twice (in France...). I never saw a dutch store sellign frog legs I think.

I eat anyting, but green cabbage. That is really yukky!

What ? where is it forbidden to eat frogs and/or snails ?

By the way, I ate them both they are tasty, I prefer frog legs.

Both tasty but I prefer frogs to snails

The Chinese eat frogs too - we refer to them as 'sweet chicken'. :D

Tastes good too, if prepared well. :)

Duhuh, Chinese eat anything that can point its back to heaven!

That is what a Chinese cook (Canton kitchen, so I presume he came from the Canton area) taught me during cooking classes 2 years ago.

That's traditionally - modern well-educated Chinese don't really do that anymore. Me and my friends aren't really into eating snakes, or chicken feet, or monkey brains, or dog meat... ;)

Why not dog meat? In Korea it is popular, also in educated environments.

Though I would not fancy chicken feet or monkey brains, I think snake is worth a try...

I've eaten snails a few time and rather liked it.

I tried frog once (mostly to able answer questions from foreigners on the taste ;) ) and it was not very good... Anyway it's a very minor French dish, and AFAIR originally it was nothing more than a substitute for rabbit or chicken for peasants :p It would never have become so famous if the brits did not hate it so much

Got the snail to my mouth, couldn't put it in though. I was maybe 13, never had the opportunity since. As for frogs, I haven't heard of them being particularly good or bad, and I have consequently lost my interest in trying them. A cajun seafood restaurant out here serves them, but I just don't care anymore.

Have tried alligator there, and it was neither good nor bad either. Based on the one experience with it, I don't care either way if I have it again or not.

As for dog meat, everyone KNOWS asians eat it. Nobody ever been to an asian country though to see for themselves...

Attention all *********. I have a bridge for sale. Auction starts at $10. (no worthless ***** accepted here)

I have tried both but don't eat them regularly. The snails I had in french clas, they were great I would eat them all the time if there was a place within two hours of me that sold them.:( The frogs I had were from the south, yet another reason I hate the South.

P.S. Fun fact about the South. They are very patriotic, they have American flags right next to their Confederate flags.

I wasn't to crazy about frog legs but escargot was pretty tasty, so were the gator bites I tried once

I wouldn't mind trying frogs, but I don't think I could eat snails.
