Okay, there's a lion, a European kite shield, and a weird folding thing. This might be tricky.

The Shield makes me think of Crusaders. Zulu shields did not have cross on them as far as I know.

The shield has a cross, so looking at Europe. Tamar was described as a lion once, but let's keep looking.

Definitely not the Zulus, the Shield has a Cross, I'm betting on the Celts. Not sure what the last object was though.

William Wallace is looking more and more likely.....

The heraldic symbol of Scotland is rampant lion. William Wallace was known as the Lion.

The shield looks quite Norman to me though, although it's likely that would have influenced the shields the Scots had at the time.

No idea about the final clue.
