Basically. If it turns out Italy isn't a civ, there will be hell to pay and it will almost certainly take a DLC.Italy have already inherited that role.

This weekend headlines:
Georgia's government outraged at its country portrayal in an American game: "we do not agree with the portrayal of our people as expansionistic. We are proud to defend or legitimate territory and do not want to be portrayed in the likes of people that have made us suffer as Rome, Perisa, Russia, Mongolia or Turkey"
It's a bit silly to blame people on the forum for Georgia being added. Ultimately it was a decision for the developers at Firaxis to make. They decided to add Georgia, not us. At no point was there an official vote.So Georgian people will be happy to have their civ included thank to your ...meme.
Now Devs have spend resources on it, to look like "close to the community (aka some civfanatics who made lobbying (how many exactly?)).
We'll not have Polynesia or Inuit but...Georgia that most people will never play with. Congratulations guys!![]()

I wonder how Tamar could look. I can imagine her with a crown, but that's all
I can only hope she will be more Cyrus/Chandragupta/Poundmaker class rather than Gandhi/Alexander class![]()
Unless you are talking about the way they look, I was originally thinking that they are memes as well.I wonder how Tamar could look. I can imagine her with a crown, but that's all

People keep staring at the meme, blind about how rich and interesting the history of Georgia and Tamar really are.
I meant their portrayal. As you can see, Cyrus the Great, Chandragupta and Poundmaker are some of the best depicted leaders. On the other hand, Gandhi looks like an alien and Alexander... Well, you knowUnless you are talking about the way they look, I was originally thinking that they are memes as well.![]()
Let's admit that the meme fever about Georgia had anything to do with its inclusion in R&F, and play with this idea : how about build up a meme about small patches designed to solve bugs, they could be hot and fix stuff... now we just need to find a cool name and hope it inspires the devs.
Also I really don't see how having Georgia prevents a Polynesian or Inuit civ being added?
You don't like it, okay. But that doesn't mean that other people can't wish for it. Her being in game isn't anything bad. There was never a Caucasian Civ in any Civ game before, and Georgia is quite nice Civ to fill this spot. And Tamar, while popularized with a meme, is an interesting leader choice. I personally don't see any problem with Tamar of Georgia being added.Number of civs added in the game is limited by financial considerations (development, creation times...) , so I'm sorry but YES, Tamar takes the place of another civ.
If you are happy to have Georgia in you game instead of Polynesia/Inuits/Sioux/Ghana/etc...good for you, congratulations!
I hope she looks like this:

But who cares? Having a Georgian UU deliver a coup de gras via flying punch would be worth it.
