Hopefully they have some interesting gameplay for her. Always nice to see some new unknown leaders out there, as long as they can set them with unique playstyles.
Maybe the LUA is to pick one more dedication than the current age allows. Meaning that for a Heroic age you could pick all of them. Golden Ages two and for Normal and Dark ages you have two dedications by which you can earn points toward Golden and Heroic.
"Dark ages and normal ages allow you to choose three dedications.
Golden ages are replaced by heroic ages.
Heroic ages are replaced by dank ages, which give you all four dedication bonuses for that era."
Georgia is a pretty mountainous region, so the CUA could be mountain-related. In a way, this could make Georgia a threat for Inca's inclusion, although they are from different regions.
oh wow at first trailer sight I thought its really Celtcs with Wallace as leader(and that chinese leak is not fake) , but 10mins later this forums cleared the mystery. Great that firaxis actually reads and cares about these forums
Ok it is morning now (well it was technically morning when I went to sleep but you get the drift), and I am still happy about Tamar of Georgia being added (most likely) to the game
It's nice because Tamar is a female pick who is actually deserving of appearance. I have no quarrel with having women lead civilisations in the game, so long as they are noteworthy for reasons other than their gender, and had a positive, significant impact on their nation and others. I wish I could say that about all the leaders we have in the game, but Tamar definitely fits the bill, and that makes me very happy.
I'm super excited, I've wanted a Civ from the Caucasus for a long time! I joined the forum back in August so quite a while after the whole meme started and I highly doubt the meme is the only reason Firaxis added Tamar and Georgia, at best we just brought it to the attention of the developers. Tamar fits the bill perfectly, she was a strong female leader that is widely well received in Georgia so I doubt the Georgian players would have any problem with her.
Also, since there was that post about the possible Georgian music, I've been listening to Georgian music for 30+ minutes now... and it is amazing.
