Time to get back to talking about the real Georgia being portrayed. Here are my predictions based on some research:
LUA: Okros Khana- You may choose one extra dedication with every age. Extra wildcard slot in a dark age.
UA: Gelati- More Production towards Holy Sites. Holy Sites buildings provide culture based on adjacency yields from mountains and more loyalty.
UU: Khevsureti Warriors- Melee Medieval Unit. Extra combat strength in a Dark Age.
UI: Svaneti Tower- Buildable on hills. Provides fortification defense as well as gold and food.

I'm excited. Georgia's fascinating, and I can't wait to see how they'll play. I'm also excited to see troll (and some real) youtube comments regarding Georgia as a state outmatch all the crybabies whining about a (possible) female leader or "insignificant" civ. I mean, I don't see how someone can even enjoy this game if they can't get excited about a civ like Georgia. Stuff like this is exactly why I'm interested in history.

It's probably been covered, but if it is Tamar as the leader it'll be interesting to see how they handle the whole king thing with her and Jadwiga. I remember someone stating Jadwiga's inclusion might eliminate the possibility of Tamar, and it is a little similar. But Tamar is a great candidate regardless.

Your not missing much. Our UB could be the new, stadium, so a entertainment district replacement
Unfortunately, Daimler-Chrystler has the trademark to the Mercedes-Benz name and thus cannot be used. Unless Super Mario makes an appearance, thanks to Mario Kart 8.

What would be the gifts from Georgia (the country)'s trade delegation?

I believe devs said something about unique way to interact with age mechanic, not some +% bonuses. It could be, for example - "Could enter heroic age without going to dark age first" with some additional tweaks.

To be entirely fair, those are early and mid-game horse rushing civs, while a Native American horse rush civ would have its moment in the later eras, though not quite at tanks. I think it'd be interesting, though mostly as a gameplay concept.

Aren't Teddy got the role already?

On a serious note, a militaristic civ with cavalry replacement could be quite interested. There's no militaristic civs with late-game UU (unless you count Germany and it's pretty different).

To be fair, Georgia is an extremely worthy candidate, meme or no meme.

Can you elaborate on this? I only know Georgia's background from the meme and from the Wikipedia entry, which suggests that it didn't do much more than remain somewhat independent and fill space for 200 years, before the Mongols moved in. The Wiki entry at least has nothing substantial to say about Georgia's international significance. Its golden age produced some art, but only lasted for a couple of generations and civs like Byzantium have much better claims in that regard.

Wouldn't even surprise me if we got Italy or Carthage as the last civ, next to Zulu, Celts/Scotland and Georgia. Ottomans and Inca's seems to be less and less likely. I'm especially concerned about the Inca's, since there is still no hint of them at all (the only hint is the possible mention of them in a certain article but that could have been a typo/mistake or whatever).

I think it has to be Carthage, if those two are indeed real (if not, still Carthage but there's room for two others). We don't have any ancient civs yet to match the first scene of the trailer, and Carthage strikes me as the best fit for a port construction. Most other ancient Mediterranean/Near Eastern civs are either in the game or are ruled out by city states we've seen, while Carthage still hasn't been spotted.

Most obvious choice of leader...David connects to the Lion of Judah symbolism.

Edit: Hope not another Female leader in Tamar as a political message.

From the little I've found on Georgia there seems no particular reason to include it other than Tamar. Not only was she at the head of the larger part of the country's golden age, having a comparatively early, successful female ruler seems to be one of the few claims it has to a particularly distinct identity rather than just being another short-lived Caucasian state east of Byzantium.

I don't think it even makes much sense from a TSL perspective - had they added the Ottomans or Byzantium they'd already have a fairly crowded area for the limited amount of space between Persia, Sumeria, Russia and whatever civ they stuck in Turkey, and city-states are fairly well-represented for that area.

Georgia.

Back before vanilla came out there was a fuzzy poster of leaders in the background of a video. We couldn't figure out who came between Barbarossa and Pericles (it turned out to be Gorgo). People would quickly look at wikipedia's list of civs and guess Georgia because it was mistakenly placed between Germany and Greece alphabetically. This went on far too long.

It became something of an in-joke.

Gorgo leads Greece, not Sparta. How was it a mistake to place her next to Pericles?

Doesn't Europe have each of the five mythical creatures of Earth, alongside the lion?

"the five mythical creatures of Earth are the dragon, the unicorn, the griffin, the chimera... and the llama."

Gah, Alpha Centauri had its share of mostly terrible quotes, but that one always irritated me because not only was it not funny as apparently intended, I was never able to make any sense out of it. Llamas aside there are many more than five high-profile mythical creatures (you'd expect a hydra before a chimera, for a start, and possibly a sphinx). As an effort to parody the distortion of history over time it managed to fall foul both of my sense of humour and my sense of pedantry.
