We really have three gender classifications, only just two articles used in modern Dutch - 'De' represents both male and female, 'het' is gender neutral. However, it's used mostly for material or abstract things, never for people(unless it's a word considered actually neutral, (het kind=the child):
"De man gaf de vrouw een lift. Het voertuig was echter defect.' - 'The man gave the woman a ride. However, the vehicle was out-of-order".
People of the third gender, gender neutral, whichever other gender or sexual classification, are still covered by 'de'. "De transgender, de homosexueel, de lesbienne, de hermafrodiet". (translation self-explanatory)
Interestingly, regarding possession, Dutch only has two gender classifications: Zijn (his, its) is used for both male and sexless/neutral nouns. Haar (her) is exclusively female. As opposed to the closely related German or English which have specific genders for articles and/or possessive pronouns.
Dutch is actually known to score quite low on the gender-equality scale. Women's rights activists have often petitioned to change the way that 'zijn' is used, because supposedly neutral objects are often considered male, the way the language is currently structured.
In contrast: I know that Hungarian doesn't specify gender at all. There's only one gender for articles, which is often translated to 'her' by auto-translation services. which can lead to odd-looking sentences. "The man gave the bag that she bought to her brother."
Ok that was fun, I have finished writing my article documenting the rise of the Tamar of Georgia Meme, now hopefully it actually is Tamar that is announced in a hour and a half
No offense, but you would really look silly if it actually wasn't Tamar Now, of course, I do hope it's her, for us who wished for her, and for you, who wrote the first historiography of the rise of King Tamar !

You know what I'd be ok with that, because it was actually fun to research and write, with a comple of little inside jokes from the forum, and if it is not Tamar, well then, I just get to change the start and end, and it becomes a continuation of the meme so I'm good ..
I have the feeling that, before, we were so used to actual leaks (netherlands, chandragupta and crees) that, even if it's Tamar, we're kind of desperate right know ^^
