Hmmm, I've just realised something about the tech system.

People who start later on the science ladder don't have a chance of catching up, due to the one tech a turn thing.

I mean, I have the funding necessary to improve all of my armed forces, but I can't because I have to do one tech a turn. Basically, that allows tiny nations with crap income to beat me with tech simply because they started earlier, despite the fact I can fund my scientists much better.

I know it sounds like sour grapes, but just from the tech leaders you can tell that some started earlier than others. If they keep getting new techs, and are able to continue to stay ahead of the rest of us, how the hell are we supposed to catch up? Techs are a) too cheap and b) one a turn is too few.

Ottoman Advance Continues:

The Ottoman Empire made a daring strike at CZE with 32 Fanatics (-1 turn) They still managed to Destroy the German defenders, loosing 10 Fanatics. A question must be asked though... for all the whining they do about this attack why does germany ignore this front?

The United States Strike!

A vengeful President sent his new trio of barrles south although he must work on his orders. Along with an Infantry accompaniment. FLO was captured as the American battlefeild reopened. MIC was found with no defenders and taken by a sole American Infantry. America lost a barrell and 2 Infantry in the south and Mexico lost 10 Zapistas.

North Atlantic Retaken

An Immense Royal fleet wiped out the French resistance and reclaimed the North Atlantic loosing only a destroyer.

Peru Battlefeild again

Mexico found victory to the south retaking PRU again from Brasil loosing 3 Zapistas.

I did that France attack 2 turns ago Jason.
