Snoopy's Terrain Graphics Modpack

That's the case in nearly ;) all tilesets, including the standard.
 
Hey Snoopy,

I am one of those people who like my tundra forests to have a whiter appearance to them, so for my own personal pleasure, I modified your tundra forests for my own use, but I ask your permission before I attach it here.

The only thing I did was edit the pallette really. Changed a few shades of green to a few shades of white.

Couple things I've noticed:

*Pollution is very hard to notice because this new one is much, much more brown than the old ones
*Sea is bit to hard to diffrentiate from ocean (I like the idea, but one of the two needs to be a bit lighter/darker)
*I LOVE the new rivers. They wind about very nicely and don't look so rigid
*The new irrigation caught me off guard :p

I think it would be good to get a "greener" modpack like TF posted for your old one. I personally dislike the browness of this mod, but after seeing the new one in action I can't possibly revert to the old one. I love the new one :goodjob:.
 
What?!?! TF made a greener version? I didnt know TF dabbled in the graphic editors. Hmm.

Since I liked the greener version of your old mod better, I will have to take a peek at this.

I think the greener version is much better.

For those who dont want to download the greener version until you see it in action, here is a gif with both the original and the greener version (changes every 3 secs)

I love the green version, plan on using it from now on.

hehe.. you know how much I dislike the terrain color of the original Civ3 graphics... ;) I find greener terrains more refreshing...

Here's another comparison:

Standard v3.0 Greener v3.0

Making your graphics greener took me only 5 minutes. :)
 
I downloaded 3.0 and... Awesome!

And I thought the 2.0 was the master piece.

Why aren't your working/freelancing for Firaxis and get paid for this...
 
Lots of people do like the greener version including myself, I didn't make it green because I got so many complaints and requests for it to be made less green.

I think the grass would look good greener but also slightly darker.
 
I may be in the minority here, but I like the "less green" version better.
 
Now that it's out, I'd like it if people could give me suggestions. I don't want suggestions on obvious things (like water round the icecaps, undone cliffs, etc) but things like cacti, darker water, different mountains, different hills, more grass in plains? etc, just anything will help me to make it better.
 
Change the style to a more watercolor style :) Just kidding.

Seriously, you might want to add some snow to the tundra trees tile set, like I did in your previous set.
