Some food resources are never placed on the map (custom games)

Some food resource types seem to be completely missing from custom games.
Examining the world with the map editor, there seem to be always a lot of corn, rice and cattle, but I have literally never seen any wheat, pigs or sheep.
I must have started about a dozen games, and I am always observing the same thing.

I came back to RI after two years or so. Don't recall seeing this in the past.

Might depend on the mapscript? I usually play Totestra and I never had this issue (with the latest revision, of course).
