There are no open succession games at the moment, so I'm starting one!
Civilization: The Aztecs
World Size: Small
Rivals: 5 random
Map type: Pangaea, 4 billion, 70% water, mild.
Variant Rules: We are the 'pointy-stick' researching Aztecs. We never research things ourselves, only taking things from others by force.
- We may never have research above 0%
- We may acquire techs in deals only by giving them techs. We may never give gold, luxuries, resources, etc in order to get techs.
- We may otherwise acquire techs in exchange for renegotiating peace, or as peace concessions. We do not fear other civilizations, so we may never give them anything as part of a peace negotiation or peace concessions, or by demanding them from other civilizations for nothing.
- We are a brutal despot. The only government types we can enter are Despotism, Monarchy, and Communism.
- We do not cave into threats, and will always refuse to be extorted.
- We are brutal, but honorable; we always respect peace treaties for the full 20 turns etc.
This is potentially going to be tough! We may be able to trade some techs early on, but after that we're going to have to get them almost entirely by beating them out of other civs.
May I ask that only players who can play confidently on Emperor and preferably have had a Deity win participate, since it is going to be tough.
I will take 30 turns to start us off, the second player can take their choice of 10 or 20 turns, and then everyone will take 10 turns thereafter.
Normal open succession game rules: the first person to post "I got it" gets to play.
If there are any doubters of how powerful Jaguar warriors are, I suggest they read this thread
