*Spoiler4* Gotm17-Carthage - End Game Submitted

.....to the revised Aeson calculator link.

One reason I spent so much time on this game was because I didn't know if I was going to win by Domination or Conquest, so I wanted to get near the Domination limit as early as possible.
(Hey, I used to be a Dairy Farmer!)

But, since it looked like I could get a Conquest victory within about 20 turns, I decided to go for IT! (with an option to take the Dom win at any time if the wars took too long OR the Germans/Aztecs had a settler floating around in a ship somewhere and I couldn't find it AND sink it quick!)

EMan Stats(Revised):
Conquest Date: 1285AD
Firaxis Score: 4103
Aeson Score: 9003

You too!:goodjob:

PS: It seems that most of you are getting about 2000 points more than me.;)

Well, it turns out the turns I lost by leaving my research at zero for too long in the ancient era, and going for optional Economics, might have been worth the boost in my score from the extra cash (which I used to rush-buy buildings in corrupt areas) after all.

My Diplomatic victory in 1260 A.D. with 4776 points (I think) gives a Jason score of 9378.

I still would have scored higher if I had the patience to go for a launch. :)

Congrats to you too.:goodjob:

PS: Well, may be they were right about me. Without milking, I can't possibly compete with you guys.;)

 I'm feeling the same way!

Your quote: "PS: Well, may be they were right about me. Without milking, I can't possibly compete with you guys."

We all know that Milking to a Gold medal requires a LOT of skill........and 3 Golds in 4 months just proves it! :goodjob: :goodjob:
[Or did someone win 3 Lotteries recently? ;) ]

It's just not realistic to expect to win a medal every month, Moonsinger. You're one of the TOP Civ players in the World (CFC World anyways) and I haven't heard ONE person dispute THAT fact!

So here's a :king: to you!

Yes, I know. When we are at the bottom, there is no where else to go but up.:) Please don't misunderstand me.;) I wasn't crying because I didn't win a medal. It was actually the tear of joys. Since I'm too far behide this time, it proves that there are much for me to learn and to strive for in the next game. I think my life would be so boring if there isn't anything for me to strive for. Therefore, I'm actually feeling very fortunate and graceful for what I have and for what I don't have (generally in RL, not necessary about Civ3).:)

Just for the heck of it, I finished the GOTM. As suspected I lost, oh the frustration.
America won with Space Race. I ended up 460 points ahead in score. Whoopie doo. I remembered my score wrong, it was only 1800 at end year, 1990.

America was only 2 tech ahead at the last but had 3 ICBM's and 4 Tactical nukes. About 1946 everyone started fighting everyone. I think America did it to decrease competition from Persia for the space race. Guess I will have to learn to watch the component building. I thought they had only built two modules.

How long have you been playing this game? You are obviously recognized as one of the best players. You are way to imagative and competitive to get discouraged now.

BTY, I always read your name as Moo-Singer as I think of the cows roaming on the Iowa hills. Then I remember there is a 'n' after Moo.

I bet you'll do better with a "normal world" this month.

Think I'll download earlier this month rather than waiting for QSC results.

Even though I did not do as well as I had hoped, it still was interesting. Celts? I don't know. Can't get much worst so might as well try.

Later.
