Squished images

I've got somewhat of a minor problem with a lot of the pictures in CIV5. The loading pictures, the social policy pictures, wonder pictures, and the wonder icons on the technology tree are all squished and distorted. Does anyone have a fix?

This is probably because your computer does not meet the minimum requirements.
-> Please say what system you have, so that we can confirm that.
I guess your graphics card is probably either a X1950 Pro, an Intel GMA 3100 or an Intel GMA 945
