Star Trek mod - The Next Generation!

Klingon:
Main art files: 100%; complete!
Interface: 98%. The unit command buttons are the only thing left.
Advisors: Screens, buttons: 100% (Culture, Science, all of them, including buttons and extras). Heads: 0% (I'd like a few files/pics to work with here...)
Misc buttons and dropdown menus: 50%, maybe more.
All others are 0%.
Overall Status: ~65%
All Klingon files have been Tested!!!

Federation, including Flamand's files: 100% all done, few files pop up that need to be trekified, but it's done.

It's no biggie. I was just looking through my previous posts and saw that I did a diamond for the Borg and that the download link was dead. Which I knew it would be dead because I had to get rid of that web page. Really all I was trying to do was save you some time on making another one from scratch...

I'll see if I can get everything downloaded and give it a whirl sometime in the not to distant future.... :D

I still have a few other Borg ships that hasn't been included into the mod yet.
Thinking about continuing this mod soon... ;)

would try the large map, but i don't have the patience to wait minutes every turn...:rolleyes:

I have to be realistic and say that I really don't have the time. But who knows, if I get a nano-bot up my arse maybe.... Course, you'll have to make those ships available for someone to do when they do get a nano-bot up their arse... :)

That's quite a responsibility you are giving me there... :D

@Linie: This large map is quite fast because the maximum number of cities is limited, so depending on your computer the lag should be not too long... ;)

@Sahsa: I mean I animated them, but they haven't been included yet... And I have about 5 other ones that I haven't animated yet.

@ Flamand: Was there ever a Breen faction in the works?

Though I'd imagine their "junk heap starships" could be a pain to create.

So no Breen faction?
 
Maybe later in an extension. In the next version there will be the Federation, Klingons, Romulans, Borg Ferengi and Cardassians. Bajor and First Federation will be unplayable minor civs. These civs are chosen for their availability of animated units.
The Dominion, Gorn and Breen will be for updates as they will needs lot of new units... ;)

But we both agreed that we needed to limit the number of races in the base mod so we could get it out. And then add the other races in updates we could plug in with ease. :)

missunderstand, i need help with star trek mode for civilisation. do you know who can help?
 
In order to play it you need to copy it to C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\Civilization III\Conquests\Scenarios and you'll find it in the scenarios menu in the game. But if you are using a German version of Civ III this mod might not work, not sure about that....

Thanks for comments! Anyway, I mis-typed the duration of my away time. If we go, 'by the book', days would seem like weeks. I'll be working and posting regularly in three 'weeks'.

Linie: I still don't know what might be causing the problem. Have you noticed a particular civ or time that it crashes, or is it without warning? Does it happen on an In Between Turn, or when you do somthing?

Wow... must have forgotten about that post... :mischief: I guess I evolved... ;)

edit: to be honest, most units in this version of the mod are not mine. But the ones in the upcoming one are. I got like a 100 or so animated and bunch more to do...
