Star Trek: The Dominion War

due to some bad experiences elsewhere on the web ı truly avoid links . And a rather bad history of browsing over a decade . So , here are the files ı have . To be taken and reloaded elsewhere . ı would download at least the first pages of relevant threads but ı found these in some civ folder of rar files alone so no credits ı can give . Will be erased in 14 days so it can be profitable to hurry . A powerful anti virus programme is always good .

http://www.mediafire.com/file/89tb04gvemf6hmp/Dominion_War.zip/file

http://www.mediafire.com/file/02ydcurnvj8d8ko/Star_Trek_0-9-0.7z/file this has 25 civs in it

http://www.mediafire.com/file/30x2q6ba6f0l72d/Star_Wars_mod_3.0.zip/file

and this is as Star Wars scenario ı found in the same folder , no idea which one or its name withing the forum . There is this Pentagenesis mod , ı think also in Atomicgamer downloads with some sci-fi stuff . Can be checked for the units perhaps .

if they don't show up , ı might try next week . Corona thing and all .

YES!!!! Thanks mate.. much appreciated. I've successfully downloaded your files, have tested and wow! This is a great moment for lost Civ3 scenario preservation work ! Thank you so much @r16 !! Here's my results..

1. Star Trek 0.9.0 is the same file I already had so all good there, although sadly it's also missing his extra music download. Seems like no one has that. EDIT: Found it! :)

2. Your Star Wars Mod 3.0 is different to all the other SW scenarios previously discussed! It's not clone wars, its not galactic civil war, its not revenge of the mod.. it's some sort of interesting all timeline (eg prequel AND original SW factions) going at it in a start fresh sandbox game and way more factions than any of these other scenarios. There's no documentation for it so I don't know anything more about it other than the fact it's not anything previously discussed lol. I need to find the thread for this mod! EDIT: Found it! :)

3. And now to the best part! Yes you indeed have @sum_aar_jam 's missing Star Trek Dominion War mod!!

I've tested it with my disc install of Civ3 (steam install users will need to modify label files) and it worked! Well, it worked after some tinkering as I got the same pedia error quit to desktop issue others in this thread talked about years ago.. for some reason the assets aren't in the Dominion War sub folder the biq files needs. Have fixed the issue and it looks good and matches sum_aar_jam's original screenshots so hopefully this was his final release! EDIT: Using the Atomic backup trick I've obtained the original files and everything matches up! :)

I've repacked with 7zip (down to 33MB) and uploaded a copy of the mod to CivFanatics servers to preserve his work. Should @sum_aar_jam return to CFC he can modify his OP download link for this mod to link to here instead of the long gone atomic one. EDIT: As part of the dead mod link rescue/replacement project I'm working on with Quintilius I've now edited the original thread post's download link for this mod to link to here instead of the long gone atomic one.

ı was quite prepared to say one out of three is better than none out of three , because ı was pretty sure ı had seen the thread for SW mod , ST 0.9 expected to be possibly the same . ı had years of my downloads , because ı would be out on a webcafe and had to move everything to flash memories for them to be of use in my computer at home and they would then be consolidated in some external drive . With the one with most civ threads not working anymore . Checked pages here to no avail and the searches only leads to Star Wars the Galactic Civil War of sum_aar_jam with a link given on page 3 , post#50 , by pvincent100 . ls it still possible to check Atomicgamer to see whether they have the name for scenario makers ?

also my version of Star Trek 09 has (ı think) crystalline (?) unit as a rar file inside the units folder . ls it necessary to add it to the biq properly ?

Yeah my version of Star Trek 0.9.0 has that unused crystalline unit zip file sitting there too.. dunno what that is all about so I left it as is..

As for your Star Wars Mod 3.0 that appears to have been made in 2010 I have successfully found it on CFC! I was made by a fellow named @Tallhwch who didn't post much about it and when he did he posted in the wrong places as I found a bunch of moved and merged threads where he got told off haha. I've restored it to CFC and posted more details of my findings here:

Oh and as for Atomic gamer I have 2 different backups of their files from archive.org yet they don't have a lot of the files I see threads linked to here sadly. As for browsing their site.. I can't seem to get to the sections where mods were post as I think access was gained via a search box that no longer works on the final backup copy here:

EDIT: Using the Atomic backup trick we can now find stuff! :)
