Star Wars Mod

Hi guys,
While I was searching for some WW2 models I stumbled on this and this.
I though it might interest you.

Ok, so if you are going to make it so that maps are linked, then when the transition is made from space to the planets surface the time in space should stand still for the duration of the ground battle.

Maps should be like EAW, you can choose between Ground and Space scripts (like Song of the Moon mod, they made a moon map script), and each one of these scripts will enable\disable some units (Space won't need any infantry, and Ground won't need any spaceships capturing ground cities).
When the SDK comes out, add the Galactic mode in scenarios you want to make, as Galatctic is a very long mode for multiplayer games.

Why is that Civmansam? I finally got my computer up and running at home for this week so I'll be around more.

Edit: I was bored tonight so I threw together a Dark Side title background you can use if you want.

I was sick over the weekend and I have a lot of work. But hopefully soon!:goodjob:

Hope you feel better soon. Is there anything I can do to help? :crazyeye:

I threw together this Mind Map and converted it to a jpeg for all to see.

I noticed you put the names for the religions needed revising, so I thought up a few ideas for you guys to toss around.

Orthodox Jedi - Essentially the light side
Sith - Essentially the dark side
Potentium - This philosophy says that the force has no sides, but a master plan for the future
Living Force - More about yourself than some master plan, but also says that everything has some force within it
Nonbelievers - A whole host of people don't believe in the force, so I think it should be included

Hmmm...let me think...well as for the imperial reminate...you might wanna make the leader Grand Admiral Thrawn (The exploits of the Imperial Reminate are told in the series that takes place 5 years after episode 6...the names of the books are heir to the empire, Dark Forces Rising and The Last Command)
Now as for Wonders, all you would need to do is go through the Starwars series and pick out buildings that seem importaint...(the jedi temple on coriscant, the Sith temples on Korriban...Civmansam, if you give me a list of things that you need, that don't include coding anything or stuff like that I'll gladly help out...I think it's be an awesome to have a good Starwars Mod out there

I assume an Oligarchy, is simillar to an oligopoly, but related to a monarchy style of rulership, which would mean two or more kings, right?

CIVMANSAM, if you post a completed tech tree I will do the quotes for you..

Right now I need a list of common units (Units that all civs can use)

Completed tech tree in game without quotes or civilopedia entries or tips will come out on sunday (Definate)

Well from a military standpoint I'd say Scouts, probes etc. but from the SW universe, the reason there aren't that many common units is because of the individuality of each culture, etc. You can have Scouts be universal, but need to alter the scout to each species that is related to the overall civ... I think you get the point, so meh... Gonna be hard to expand from a common unit field of nil.

Here are a few resource leads however, as these are oft used in battles in SW that I know of....

Inert Gas
Gas
Steel
Copper
Iron
Radioactives
Gemstones
Crystals
Oils
Polymers
Aluminum

-- There are a wide variety of each of those basic fields, which can be expanded upon and used for types of warfare. (Say one civ managed to get a hold of some Quadranium Steel (best type) and another civ noticed it and declared war, then the steel would be in contention if both sides claim it. :P

dont froget the C.I.S.! the leaders should be Count Dooku or General Grievous. And this should be the leader head.

The CIS are already in, and yes General Grievous and Dooku are both leaders. The leader head looks like this.
