Why don't you simply PM Civmansam and ask to join the Star Wars team. If you can code or have some good ideas I can't see why he'd say no. This seems simply odd to make a component of a mod in progress...

Also this is a Full blown Mod, the Mod components page is for "moduals" little tweaks and bits of code that are ment primarily as building blocks for the larger Mods such as this one.
