Star Wars: The Mod - Unit requests

He doesnt look anything like boba fett *looks confused*

point 1) we shouldn't use any random units to stand in for other units - if you want all these units, we have to make them all.
point 2) what on earth are we going to use bounty hunters for?!?
 
well, he does look like boba fett. I don't mind using him as a stand-in.

I thought we would use bounty hunters as hidden nationality units (expensive, high attack, low defense, medium movement, conscript health).

Regarding barbarians, i assumed we could use tusken raiders or something (yeah, i know . . there weren't tusken raiders on every planet but the unit is already made, and i do think they are the best alternative for a barbarian unit).
 
Ok, I'm back to units. I finally figured out how to use SBB, and got a really good storyboard:

The thing is, I can't make it into a flc. Usually, I just use FLICster, export an existing unit into a pcx and FXM, then paste the bmp into the pcx. Now that I'm using SBB, I can't figure out how to make it into an FXM. Can someone help?

Have flicster create a NEW storyboard

menu = file\NEW

This creates a starting PCX for you. You will need to adjust the palette to match your unit.
 
Yeah, um, pardon my stupidity, but what is that unit?
 
its a kaadu isn't it tho? tauntauns were white and furry......and taller......... o well

That's a mounted trooper (used by Naboo in SWBG). He has a flamethrower.

Ok, I did the storyboard for the right unit. The thing is, I think FLICster hates me. Either that or my paint program and FLICster are incompatible. The thing is, when I open up the pcx and paste the storyboard into it and save, I check my progress in FLICster, and FLICster crashes. Any ideas on why this happened?

the attack anim, please don't use the same lasers as the a-wing - with the longer barrels, the laser shots should be longer - like in the films. small touch to add a bit more realism to an already cool unit :) thanks
 
I'm doing 3 attack animations: Concussion missiles, linked lasers and single shots. ALso, since I played the old X-wing and TIE fighter flight sim games by Lucas Arts, the attack animations will be rather aerobatic (I'm planning on the Z-95 jinking in the first animation, weaving in the second, and doing a barrel roll in the third).
