Civ color?
Poser or Bryce? Looks poser, but thought I'd ask since some of the changes that would be cool are easier in Bryce. If it is Poser, is it boned yet?

At civ scale, the all white doesn't work all that well. It all washes together into a blob. Maybe take some very minor liberties with the color/shading.
The problem with extreme color textures, dark or white, is the same as in photography. You lose most of your detailing.
One thing that might be worth experimenting with is using either an extremely light shade civ color mixed with a very light shade of gray to replace the white. It would look very close, but it would have a hint of civ color and the detailing would remain. Also boosting the contrast by reducing the diffuse channel (in Bryce) or darkening the ambient color in Poser might help.

Naturally, the model looks just cool.

It's Poser. It is actually Kinboat's PDM that I attached some downloaded Stormtrooper armor to as props.

Currently no Civ-color. Anybody have any suggestions on where to put it?

The Stormtrooper model I downloaded actually had the armor in a light gray-blue. It wasn't very noticeable, and might work out well at civ scale. I have the ambient color at completely black, so that method will not help any more than it already is.

Thanks, Bjornlo.

i suggest make the belt and the shoulger pads the civ color...

Looks sweet! In order to solve the white problem, maybe you could make him slightly dirty, and war ravaged, like the clones in Episode 3:

I agree with poly, make the shoulder pads civcolor, :).

Dirty would help. Going to a slightly darker shade would help more. Even if it is just very light gray.

Although, the original texture sounds very similar to what I was suggesting as an easy way to solve both the civ color and the blown-out detailing. the pale-light grey-blue should work well.. Worth a shot. Easy to fix if it is a problem.

Here is a set of previews:

The color goes from left to right 255-255-255 to 185-185-185 to 150-150-150.

Which do you guys like?

@stormrage: I was thinking of making him shoot straight(er), but maybe making him itch his butt in the fidget...
