Actually maps are of interest to me for one. I can make them live on.

Never mind that:

I remembered that he laredy released the maps publicly. Remember that these are not finalized to what we are working with, but they are good maps. Tweak resources to fit!

Is there anything happening with this mod anymore? I'm just asking because now that Civ V is out it would be more than logical to focus the efforts behind this mod to bring a similar one into Civ V world

I for one would be interested in such a mod project. And yes, I mean helping as in doing something (I know C++ and XML, and Lua doesn't seem too hard to learn with some programming background), but I thought I'd ask around these old forums to see if you guys have some plans already for Civ V.

So is this project officially dead, and would anyone be interested in doing this for Civ V?

It's pretty much in limbo atm. It's going to take at least another month for me to get started again.

As for Civ V, I haven't got it yet. I'm going to wait until the biggest bugs are fixed before switching.

And the real modding will only start with the release of the C++ files. I don't know however what the other members of the mod think about Civ V.
