Steph my unit_32.pcx is messed up, could you post the latest unit_32.pcx.
 
I found an error I do not no what it is here is a screenshot, I found the .ini in the units folder and I could not found any thing else.

Seems like a typo-

My sugestion: Open the Mod's bic (or bix; biq) file, find the unit that cannot be produced in-game (Val) and check the entry that relates to the pediaicons file (PRTO_etc). Now open the text folder, then the pediaicons.txt file and use the find option to search for the Val entry and see if it actually reads (PRTO_etc) the same as in the bic-File and if the Val folder is also spelled correctly. Correct either of these to match their counterpart (i.e. PRTO-entry or Folder names have to coincide with one another.)
 
I have found the .ini file but I have not found the folder, there is no folder.

btw the .ini file is in the units folder.

edit: I found out that it is the Tenzan, Naval Fighter Bomber for the Japanese and the folder name is suppose to be _air_Val but there is no folder by that name all there is is a .ini file. There is no animation files either.
 
Some suggstions for industral/Modern naval stats, just to let you no I have been playing alot of naval wars changing stats and testing and this is what I have come up with. Starting with the Dreadnaught (btw this is with C3C)


A=Attack M=Moves
D=Defense BS=Bombard Str.
HP=Health Bonus BR=Bombard Range
ADS=Air defense RoF= Rate of fire
TC=Trans. Capacity

ok so this is what I have come with and have tested all of the stats and strongly recommend this changes they make naval combat much funer.
The concept is the a Destroyer can beat a Cruiser and a Cruiser can beat a Battleship for the industral and Modern age. Now all of this can be changed at any time. I'm open to comments;)

Hello, so far Ive had a few bugs they are
Otomo Spearman.ini
Japanese worker.ini
Japanese Settler.ini
EDIT=it was the umm shani no something... I got it writin down at home. Ill edit again there
So far I just made a new folder and copied the coresponding folders into then with a few changes

Steph any ideas why im getting theese errors? I also have a Shoni no saki(sp?) errors and a shoni no saki/otomo spearmen error any ideas?
 
It sounds like you did not put the files in the right folders, could be wrong though;)
 
Doh I found my problem..... I ran it in conquests. I turned on ptw and it works like a charm
 
Steph I got this idea about the main WW1 infantry and up , I was thinking about giving them the build fort option. I have tested it and it is very fun, its realistic (WW1 and WW2 infantry can dig trenches, I also changed my industrial era forts to trenches they look cool to), The AI uses them , he actually builds forts at strategic location. I am just throwing this idea out there to see what you think.:)
 
I just wanted to say thanks for making these units. I stopped modding a long time back cos I got pissed off at all the patchs (Zulu will remember me I think). Anyway, I thought I would make a new mod and needed a generic 17th or 18th century light cavalry. It was a hell of a time finding anything until I hit your stuff.

I started downloading the units one by one just to look at em and wondered if there were stuffed files somewhere for those of us who are not bandwidth limited. Luckily I found your mod thread and I'm on my way.

I have a question: I plan to download this mod but i think it is similar to Armies of The world mod that i have downloaded i time ago. I wan't to know if it's the same mod or not?
