Update V, 2700BC
War begins in India as Bahrut armies etner Bhoja lands. Well until expelled from them easily by the far larger Bhojan numbers... Several small battles are fought here and there but nontheless Bhojan armies occupy the small area named Gujari. Things don't look too good for Bahrut... but still their navy succeed in a small landing in Bhoja lands. Smart move, for now...
(-200 Bahrut Spearmen, -100 Bahrut Archers, -300 Bhoja Spearmen, -100 Bhoja archers)
The war in the North goes on as Fennia is breaking a part under rebelles and Kaumolaiset. But thats not all. as Kaumolaiset armies take the Fennian capital the main Fennian generals swear to destory the Kaumolaiset armies! Soon a huge battle takes place near a small village called Novgrod between most Fennian troops and Kaumolaiset and their rebelle allies. Amazingly the Fennians win the battle but extreme looses to both sides spell the end.. The area called Finland, with no strong government falls into chaose as many rebelle in both countries rise.
With no hope left the scotish king surrenders to Pictish forces. Scot armies immidietly ive up on all fronts and Ireland and the Picts rule supreme in what used to be Scotland. The Irish also make a small landing in Brittany easily defeating the Gauls there with more battle expirience. This landing brings hope to Normandy which soon retake it's lands as the gauls go away. What the gauls plan? no one knows...
(-100 Eire Spearmen)
The war in Iberia reach new heights as the Samehan armies march on to occupy most of Tarttesos. Amazingly they find the country empty of it's armies! Only some archers were left in Tarttesos itself and peasents were attacking the Samehans on their way and behind the lines destorying suply routes. None-the-less Sameh occupied all of Tarttesos except the capital itself which still easily hold to the siege thanks to getting supplies throught sea.
Where the Tarttesian army was? well thats obvious. With the Samehan navy nowhere around (hiding they said..) the Tarttesian armies landed around the capital of Sameh and occupied many lands, killing the population (in
return for the inslaving of their own people). The capital is under direct threat but an interesting offer has came from the Lusitenians...
(-100 Sameh archers, -100 Tarttesian Spearmen)
It is far more interesting on the Italian boot. As roman armies recieve no orders at all they must retreat against the growing armies of Etrusca. Soon Etrusca push Roman armies back to the border winning skirmish after skirmish. And not diffrent from the North... In the south Roman armies try their best with no leadership but fail again and again and soon the Samnite tribes occupy most of southern italy. The Etruscan ask the Samnites to give them their lands back... they find a refusal, it seems their own alliance against Rome have ended as well and now the war that will choose the future of Italy have begun.
(-300 Roman Spearmen, -200 Roman Archers, -300 Roman Legionare Phalanx, -200 Etruscan Spearmen, -400 Etruscan Archers)
The Greek wars continue to rage.
Thebes in a quick move destory any chance for Epirus to revive it's armies and easily crash their armies. Soon they make a harsh peace offer in which Epirus loose most of it's southern provinces. As soon as Epiran armies are back in Epirus itself the north of the country falls into anarchy and the country refuse to take it back. There are not enough men right now... Just not enough.
Thebes days are not only of gold and victories. In the south and eastern parts of the country the Athenian-Minoan alliance destory the Thebean armies and march to Thebes itself only stopped by a Spartan army that defends outside of Thebes. Sparta itself was nearly under siege when Spartan armies returned home and slaughtered the Minoan landing parties and any Athenian try to get itno the penisola.
In the anatolian front the Cyprut did not expcted the coming disaster. The hitties came in huge numbers far more than Cyprus and Minoa had TOGETHER in anatolia. Soon they both were pushed aside by larger numbers and higher training of the hittie chariots and horsemen. Minoan navy also breaks into Cyprus and make a very daring, yet small,, landing in western Cyprus. Things don't look good for Cyprus...
Also Syracuse armies are seen aiding Athense in their battles against Sparta. Why they joined? They got some lands in southern italy ofcourse... and with them joining and Epirus leaveing the sides looks a bit like this: Sparta, Thebes and Cyprus vs. Athense, Minoa and Syracuse.
(-200 Cyprus Spearmen, -100 Cyprus defender, -200 Cyprus Archers, -50 Cyprus Galleys, +1000 Cyprus Peasents, -100 Syracuse Spearmen, -300 Athenian Spearmen, -100 Athenian Archers, -20 Athenian Galleys, -400 Minoan Spearmen, -100 Minoan Archers, -20 Minoan Galleys, -400 Thebean Spearmen, -100 Thebean Archers, -500 Epirus Spearmen, -300 Epirus Archers, -400 Spartan Spearmen)
The Hitties not only fight in Anatolia. Thats is where their smaller numbers went. Their main campaign comes to the middle east.
The Kingdom of Antioch... Well... Cannot longer have this name. After the capital have fallen into Hittie hands after a short siege the kingdom have begun breaking a part. With only two Phoenician cities still surviving the hittie onslaught in the south and a third city that broke from the Empire of Antioch.
The City State of Sidon have breaken away, fortifing their city agaisnt the comign Hitties and build (and taking from Antioch) a small navy to be able to resupply themselves. The other two surviving cities ,Tyre and Dor also think about breaking from Antioch and forming the Phoenician league. Talks with Sidon for a trible league have alreayd begun.
Assyria does not survive better. Growing their Chariot army was a bright, and mostly brave move. When the hitties came the expected the ususal Spear-Archer formations. Their expection were broken when an Assyrian chariot army crushed into their own archers killing many. The hitties won in the end of the day but only thanks to sheer amounts of men, and a larger, much larger, chariots and mounted army. The capital of Assyria, Ninveh is under siege. The Assyrians gave the hitties many looses last time... will they win in the next meeting of the armies? Will the hitties go deep into Assyia moving to the next country in line? Already Judea and Babylon are frightened...
(-300 Antioch Spearmen, -300 Antioch Archers, 20 Antioch ships to Sidon, -2 Antioch economies, -300 Assyrian Spearmen, -200 Assyrian Archers, -50 Assyrian Chariots)
The Egyptians, Oh the Egyptians. Egyptian armies marched east. Egyptian armies were magnifisant and strong when they marched. The one thing they didn't expect was the barbarian sea people. At the beginning this attack seemed to work, the Egyptian armies marched on with almost no people to stop them. Well until a ship was seen, and than another, and than another... About 100 great ships came to the coast where the Egyptian armies camped for the night and from them an army came out. Hundreds of Cahriots, thousands of men attacked the Egyptian camp and slauthered as many Egyptians as they could. The Egyptian had nothing to do except... Run away for their lives! And run they did, straight into Egypt.
At the beginning it seemed like all ended. Until they came after the Egyptian armies. It was now even more than a hundred ships. The sea people were truly masters of the sea and the Egyptians would soon come to learn that a great river can bring life, but it can also bring death.
With no time to waste the Sea People invaded Egyptian coastline and as the Egyptian navy barley escaped to the nile the sea people navy came right after. Thousands of men and chariots landed fromt he ships across the nile river. Soon Thebes itself came under quick siege that ended when the sea people used small rafts to invade it right from the rivers passing the walls easily. The sea people now occupy most of the Egyptian rich northern lands. And their propeganda into their southern neighborse does not go well either... but one thing is good of it.
Many people in Egypt now take arms to fight for the country, amazingly many build their own chariots and the Egyptians see a great influx of peasent troops of many kinds... Will this save Egypt? Another good thing is that stolen chariots from the sea people show how build Schyted chariots for the Egyptians.. Will they upgrade their chariots and build this new magnifisant weapones (1 spending point for upgrade)
(-500 Egyptian Spearmen, -300 Egyptian Archers, -50 Egyptian Chariots, -100 Early sworsdmen, -40 Egyptian galleys, -2 egyptinan economies, +many Egyptian volunteers)
OOC: Everyone who is invaded by barbarians. DOn't worry they will be gone after this turn, their not organized enough to remain for too long.
Anyone who don't send orders 3 times in a row get his country to NPC state. Some gonna get it.
NPC diplomacy:
from Picts
to Eire:
Why have your ships were spoted around our coasts? We will destory you if they are not turned around.
from Tarttesos
to Sameh:
If all Tarttesian slaves would be freed and we will be citizens in Sameh, and I king of Tarttesos could continue rule my city, only than we will peacfully surrender. Otherwise we shall take your capital and burn it to the ground!
from Minoa
to Cyprus:
We will retreat from your island if you will surrender your Anatolian colony to us. Yes it is occupied by hitties right now but after their gone it would be ours. Agreed?
from Sparta
to Cyprus:
Do not agree to that! Don't be cowards! Fight them to the death!
from Bhoja
to Bahrut:
HAHA! weakling pathetic armies. Surrender the penisola to us and get away and we will sign peace.
from Nubia
to Egypt:
Do not spread anymore propeganda into our lands or we will join the sea people!
from Lusitinia
to Sameh:
If you will let us take half of Tarttesos lands our armies could come in time to save your capital from being burned to the ground and you could easily inslave all Tarttesians as you wished before...
This is all, I think
