OOC: Since somebody is finally using a nuke, I am gonna make something clear about the effects of nukes. Here's what they do: if used on a city, they will cause large decreases in the victim's faith and economy. If used against troops, the victim's army (or navy, depending) will be decreased by a number of levels (depending on how many troops were stationed in the nuke's range.) Either way, fallout is an effect. Fallout is represented on the map by small yellow (or green in a yellow territory) dots. Fallout zones radiate out from the site where the bomb was dropped and don't follow borders. Fallout from a bomb used against one nation may effect another. If cities are in fallout zones, it damages living standards, faith, and economy. Any troops located in a fallout zone (either in there right after the bomb, or moved in there before the fallout is cleaned up) get irradiated, causing the military size to decrease. You can clean up a fallout zone by ordering it for 3 turns. Other nations may help clean up a fallout zone in your country.

To USA:
We have ENDED our aggression in the Middle East. If we were fighting a war of total agression, we would have destroyed Iran. Instead we only took a small amount of land and even gave them their capital back! As to Israel, it is not agression if we are moving in to defend an allie.

To Japan:
Do not join the USA. You can have an air force whenever you want; the restrcitions on your military is only one way in which America keeps you enslaved. Break free, and build yourself the military that you deserve!

To Italy, E Germany:
Thank you, comrades! The Americans will be destroyed!

To Iraq:
We told you to watch out for Iranian nukes. But you wouldn't listen. We mourn for those who will die in Baghdad.

To the World:
The Soviet Union is ordering a nation-wide moment of silence in mourning when Iran drops the first nuclear weapon on Iraq. We suggest that other nations do the same, as we will all see the terrible effects of the Bomb.

While we certainly do not wish for Communism spreading even more,we unfortunately have to agree with USSR,NATO is a defensive alliance.Except for the airraid on Jacksonville,NATO territory is not under attack.As long as fighting only takes place in USSR,Korea,Philippines and Caribbean,we'll not intervene.However we'll mobilize our military.

Be aware,as soon as NATO territory comes under attack,we'll be forceed to intervene.Therefore we must ask USSR to refrain from further attacks on U.S. mainland.

As you may have seen already, we are remaining neutral in the Russo-American conflict. Britain does not condone unprovoked agression, no matter the country. Since the USA are our allies we did not declare war on them, but we are angered by there actions even though they might have a few reasons. However, Iraq attacked Iran for no reason at all and now they are facing the consequences. We are also not happy with the government of Japan, but for internal reasons and a more important conflict in the Middle East, we will stay out of that conflict.

I am announcing the splitting of British India into various sections, each with their own government overseen by the proper British Governor-General. Pakistan and East Pakistan (Bangladesh, also majority Muslim) are to be the Muslim- controlled colonies, India is to be the Hindu controlled colony, Sri Lanka is to be Tamil-controlled, and Kashmir is to be ruled jointly by Muslims and Hindus. We aim to keep the peace in India and make sure the ethnic factions are happy.

We have no intention of fighting in mainland America. The Jacksonville raid was strictly retaliatory for the civilians killed in the American bombing of Anadyr, the first city to fall to their invasion force. We will expel the Americans from Russia, strip them of their colonies (the Caribbean islands, Panama, Colombia, S. Korea, Philippines, and the Pacific islands), and then offer them peace. However, if the Americans continue to bomb Soviet cities during their campaign in the East, we will continue our retaliatory bombing. This will most likely take the form of bombing Philippino, Panamanian, or Colombian cities.

To Britain:
We applaud both your sensibilities in not supporting the US and your work for peace in India. We too have ethnic difficulties, the USSR being a huge nation containing many different peoples. We hope everything works out for you in India. May you be spared from your Muslim population the same terror that befell Israel from its.

Also, remember this. If the American dogs use nuclear force against my nation, by international law I am allowed to retaliate fully against his homeland with identical nuclear force. I hope that Soviet retaliation to an American nuclear bombardment will not be considered agression against NATO territory, and will not activate your alliance. After all, if the Americans are dumb enough to use nuclear force, then they deserve what they will get, and there is no reason for Europe to become a fallout zone because the Americans decided to butcher Moscow or St. Petersburg.

"Accept peace at pre-war borders?" That is acceptable to us, with a few minor conditions. One, you issue an international apology for your unprovoked attack. Two, you withdraw from Korea so that I can be sure that you will not attack the Far East again. I should think this would be acceptable to you, as you lose nothing but Korea, and you would lose it to Chinese forces anyway if war continued.

USA shall leave korea and Korea shall be an indepent naition that dosen't shall be in allinace with USA OR USSR, they shall have an limited military, and if China attack them WE must attack China (This will let them not be in alliance with one of us and will not let them be taken by China).

Ireland has ended its fight for independence. It is not partaking in any "aggressive activities." Italy has not done any fighting at all, neither offensive nor defensive. The change of power took place peacefully. You have no reason to fight my allies.
