Great Cathedral In Copenhagen
The Government has announced it is funding the creation of a great Cathedral in Copenhagen. The Cathedral will be one of the most beautiful in Europe and is now under construction. The plans for the building were drawn out by Francesco De Francis, the great Italian architect.
The Cathedral shall be completed within the next few years it is hoped it will attract millions of visiors to Denmark to see it.

Chancellor Allows Kvaskists Freedom
The Chancellor has announced that Reformist Kvaskists may freely practice their religion in the privacy of their own homes or places of worship. Mr. Tofting though was quick to point out though that public speakings on Kvaskism are still illegal and that no more than 6 Kvaskists may legally meet at any time.

The Danish National picked themselves from the crushing blow of not winning the World Cup to walk to victory at the National Stadium in their opening qualification match. Two first half goals from Peter SORENSEN sealed the match for the new look Danish side. The young striker has been sensational since coming into the first team and at only 19 he'll surely be looking to lead Denmark to International Glory.

Super SORENSEN strikes again! Another two goals to add to his tally. This time both coming in the second half in an easy game for the Danes. Captain Tore Nielsen had stressed before the game not to underestimate the Roman side and they almost nearly caught the Danish defence out at the beginning of the game with a crafty throughball which Alonso somehow poked wide. From there on Denmark controlled the game with NIELSEN finding the net and JORGENSEN slipping home the second. Rome did score in the second half courtesy of Alonso but it was too little too late.

The Russian Bear Sleeps As The Vikings Continue The Charge
Denmark 5 - 2 Russia
The spirited Russian performance which saw them earn a massive draw in Britain was nowhere top be seen in the National Stadium. Russia had so far been the shock of the group but it was hard to see why as they succumbed to a much superior Danish side.
The Danes crusied into the lead early on with SORENSEN striking his fifth of the campaign, but this was to be his strike partner JORGENSEN's night scoring an excellent hat-trick to seal the game before half-time.
Denmark made plenty of changes for the second half allowing a couple of inexperienced players a chance to play at international level. The match slowed down as the new players settled in and this allowed Russia a way back as their starman on the night DONETSKOV scored a goal to make the score 4-1. The Danes replied immediately though as substitute Anders JOHNSEN banged home an emphatic volley to seal the match for Denmark.
Russia scored again in the 90th minute but it was only a consolation goal.
Denmark now top Group B by 5 points and only need to get four more points to secure qualification and a trip to Germany.
