After the defeat of the Seminoles at Tallahassee, the Floridian Empire began to end its northward expansions and began to incorperate The Bahamian islands and Cuba into the empire much more peacefully than the war against the seminoles had gone. Priests from the holy city of Orlando traveled across the islands on board the newly refitted Gator ships to convert the people. Most of the islanders converted to the Floridian religion, although a rare few resisted the change. A hail of flaming arrows from the Gator Ships onto a coastal village or into a forest to set fires often quickly convinced these rebels to surrender to the growing might of Florida.
At this time a new command system was organized for the Florida army. Here is a list of the ranks of the Floridian army from highest to lowest:
Supreme Priest: commanders of the notacors. These are the top leading religous figures in the Floridian Empire as well as skilled military commanders.
Gator Warrior: These men, covered by armor skinned off of alligators commanded the notadives. They were the first armored warriors in Floridian History.
Panther Warrior: These men, usually dressed in panther furs were the scouts and commanders of the notaregs.
Palm Warrior: The main bulk of the Floridian Army. Covered in palm leaves, they blended with the environment to ambush and surprise the enemy. They made up the notabats that fileld the rest of the army.
