if this had continued just a bit longer, erez would be tied with me and kammilan for that third age arward ;)

also, since the games over, I think I migh tgo ahead and tell Portugal, Aragon, and Burgundy just what we had planned for it

1)AAminion was a strong proponent of gaining burgundy, I wasnt, to that end, i never expected burgundy to join our side, and to that end I tried to make sure I overplayed how much I wanted/needed him on our side, mainlyy to give Port and aragon a false impression of our plans

2)this false impression mainlyl concisited of me trying to fiegn Burgundy into attacking me, which didnt work, though he went on defensive, which is more or less neutral, so it ended up being even better thwen what I had origioanlly wanted, moreover, he spread the word to aragon and port that without his goin to my side, we wouldnt have been able to attack port/aragon

3)needless to say, this was PERFECT- as it meant that very likelly, port and argon would invade Italy, which, with 9000-10,000 troops, and foritfactiosn all around italy and Sicilyl the turn of invasdion would be costlly, more over, this would take away thier troops from other fronts, primarilly egypt, where allies with an army of about 5,600 men would invade to conqoure, and cut ports trade with the east, getting rid of thier asterick

4)moreover, while Port and aragon army was tied up primarilly in italy and tripoli, and a third wave of troosp comting from the west via the sea would invade the iberia homeland- Port and Aragon never seemed to catch on tot he fact that britain was an ENEMY of thiers...

needless to say, all this within one or two turns would have crushed portugal, and ofcourse this is only my side of the plans, aaminion is the man to ask about details ;-)

Nope!

that reminds me, i forgot about the slave revolts- i was speding one econ this turn to get your slaves to revolt from under your rulem, and to hopefully burn your docks and your ships :p- I have no idea if it would have worked though

lol how woudl the money get to them if you dont control the navy? and i think people would notice some guy handing out money in the fields

a lonely merchant can be traveling through burgundy on their way to iberia - you cant block all exits and entrances into rome.

Also, the slaves would revolt, and then get money from the merchants, and buy weapons.

Nope!

neddless to say, sweet ;) (this is also why i dont keep slaves for industrial purposes in my NES nations, only harem girls and the like ;))

who they gonna buy weapons from? i would have thought they would have stole them i dont think some guy would sell a mob of slaves weapons, in fact i think the mob would just take the weapons

they MAKE the weapons- I doubt the masters are going to notice is the slaves squirril away raw materials or extra weapons in buried caches and the like

The slaves would not have been a mob. And there is free merchandising in Aragon, any corrupt merchant, or pro-freedom, would have sold the slaves pikes, swords, and the like.

Nope!

emu, which you could have had. slavery always helped your economy. I applaud you for having slavery, with all the risks - it keeps in touch with reality. Here Here!

My point wasn't seen in that example/plan. The point was to attack thier source. If they no longer had what feeds thier power then they wont be powerful anymore. You guys were lucky that Jason gave ya a break and just made Russia fall on its own weight. ;)

Attempting to finish a huge wall in one turn was funny in my eyes aswell. :p :D :)

it would have worked better then daming the wrong end of the river ;)

Sucks to see this go.. We will never know what could have happened if this NES continued :(.

Ui i got a award :). I think one of the most important adwards has been forgotten:

Best story-writer: Goes to... Siam!
Nr.1 almost-always-war-nation: Somalia!!! I don´t realy know, i only know that there were very few turns without me being at war with someone. But Portugal had some extensive colony wars, too. I don´t know for sure.

I learned very much in this NES:

1# Don´t set your goals TOO high - u can´t have everything.
2# Trade owns da world!
3# Allies own da world even more!
4# Watch your back ;).
5# Never give up!

i learnt that if i try and try and try again it still never seems to work out
also that erez never really keeps his word, we had about 5 wars in 2 turns :P

btw i had an arm of 11000 is that big enoguh to be entered into the biggest army group?

this started out as a story but became hybrid. I spit on the title of your NES.
