It was a picturesque setting in the Alps, one that reminded Johann of his home in Switzerland.
Small wonder. Austria and Switzerland were much alike in many ways, including the massive
mountains that they called home. Still, a beautiful landscape, which he, walking in the open air,
could easily enjoy. Walking through the streets of Vienna was a treat, too. Not like Zurich, not
like his hometown. It was a much older city. Much older. It had a ring of the old ages, the
classical ages. Even older than that.
Granted, the country itself was no real treat. Devastated by Muscovy, pillaged, burned, ruined.
Yet the capital of the new Union. Beautiful city, bad setting. Except for those mountains... He
looked up, and in front of him was the ministry of Trade, his workplace and destination.
Things were going well at the ministry of trade. It was not clear who the Union would trade with,
but there was talk of the internal trade network being finished soon. Add that to the enormous
economic growth, and they would have an easy time, yes, an easy time.
Orders:
Increase army by 1500 men (costs 3 economy, brings it down to Growing, brings army to 2720
men).
Finish Wonder!! (brings economy right back up to Outstanding+1

)
Diplomacy:
To all nations around us (excluding Poland, see below OOC):
We would like to open up two trade routes. Who would be willing to open up trade routes with
us?
(OOC: Jason, shouldnt Polands trade route be with Alpine Union, not Austria. It would be kind
of odd for him to profit off of a nation thats dead.
