To pay for the establishment of a full and proper trade route out of your own pocket will be a great sign of friendship.

Kentharu, there's plenty of land to the south; I really am not interested in attacking your island nations. It is well outside the core of my hopeful territories. The same most likely goes for the Aztecs, situated in Central America they would conquer both the north and the south before contemplating such a military endeavor.
