The battle was hard fought by both sides, and the Athenians lost some 400 men, however now it's the Athenian flag that waves over Sparta. A regiment expanding to the North met a Macedonian messanger accepting a pact of non-agression, while sailors to the East have met a Hellenes people called the Lydians.
The Egyptians spend many years trying to perfect copper weapons. After around 40 years a child in Thebes reminds them that they're already in bronze age, and they have a good long laugh about their waste of time. For the next 60 years bronzesmiths in Thebes develop superior bronze weapons. The city of Abydas is also established around this time.
In Italia, the Romans head North to help the Etruscans battle the pillaging Lombards. It takes a while to arrive at the front, but when they do they make nothing but progress. Back in Rome, a great new project is started while bronzesmiths try to come up with a new metal. The construction project starts of splendidly but the bronzesmiths efforts result in absolutely nothing. The oracles tell Ceaser to wait another 1000 years or so.

In Anatolia, Lydian sailors attempt to settle in Crete. It's hard work but they manage to set up a perliminary colony on the easternmost tip. Back home in Sardis the Lydians keep expanding, and have met the Athenians to the East.
In Poland, the Polish have begun to master the German tongue, but they still call them Niemcy. Much is going in Gdansk, which the king is determined to make as beutiful as a city can be. It becomes the Western equivalent of Kyoto, and many call for it to become the new capital.
Kilwa Kisiwani has attacked Zanzibar, the tiny island nation which has recently set up colonies on Kilwa shores. The Kilwa are making progress, but it's rumored that Zanzibar has reinforcements.
The Mali kingdom attacks the Songhay in Western Africa! Mali forces heavily outnumber the shocked Songhay and are heading straight for the Songhay capital of Gao.
The Babylonians expand South and try to establish the city of Ur. However this is already the capital of Sumer, so they decide to name it Uruk instead. To the North the Assyrians are a constant problem, trespassing Babylonian boundaries frequently.
In Thrace, a rift occurs between the Thracians and Macedonians. In the meanwhile, the city of Byzantium is settled in the Southeast.
In Norway, the Norwegians continue to annex the surrounding barbarians. They also establish a colony in a place called Denmark and try to convince the natives to expand eastward. This doesn't work however and the natives have begun to get suspicious.

The Majapahit continue to make progress against the barbarians around them, with an increased number. Several strategic locations were capture in the last several decades.
In Srivijaya, great times of prosperity occur. The discovery of copper leads to the development of bronze by Srivijayan coppersmiths. Expansion west leads some to talk of civilizations across the waters.
The Xia continue to expand against the neighboring barbarians and eventually conquer them whole. The Xia are probably the strongest civilization in Eastern Asia, and their great project is going along splendidly.
