stMinionNES2: Bigger, Better, Betterer

MAJAPAHIT

THE Kingdom flourished. The army was growing and trade prospered.

Orders:
Grow Army
Expand to Bali and to the Sumatran Streight.

SRIVIJAYA

The following is told by a 32 year old man, a middle class man who works in the fields of Yogyakarta

One day I awoke in my village of Yogyakarta, the sun blazing down upon the backs of the early risers who had come out to pick their daily crops. A beam of light came across my chest as I awoke. The hot, humid air was blowing into my room.

I quickly put on my trousers and smock, as I was late. My higher authority was not going to be happy with me, as this was the third time I had been late this week.

As I stepped out of my small hut, he was there. Enuando had waited for me, waited to chew me out.

"Where were you, Fredricko?" he shouted in an angry voice.

"I....I was....-" Fredricko studdered in a shaky voice, but he was interuppted.

"Spit it out! I am sick of this! Get off my plantation! Get your things out of the shack, I expect you to be gone by sundown!"

Update 3 - 3700 B.C.

------------------------------

In the lands of the Mauryan empire, the barbarian threat from the East is finaly pushed back. Not only that but their whole lands are conquered, bringing a large number of slaves into Pataliputra.

After a long siege of the city, Athenian warriors finally take over Sparta. The battle was hard fought by both sides, and the Athenians lost some 400 men, however now it's the Athenian flag that waves over Sparta. A regiment expanding to the North met a Macedonian messanger accepting a pact of non-agression, while sailors to the East have met a Hellenes people called the Lydians.

The Egyptians spend many years trying to perfect copper weapons. After around 40 years a child in Thebes reminds them that they're already in bronze age, and they have a good long laugh about their waste of time. For the next 60 years bronzesmiths in Thebes develop superior bronze weapons. The city of Abydas is also established around this time.

In Italia, the Romans head North to help the Etruscans battle the pillaging Lombards. It takes a while to arrive at the front, but when they do they make nothing but progress. Back in Rome, a great new project is started while bronzesmiths try to come up with a new metal. The construction project starts of splendidly but the bronzesmiths efforts result in absolutely nothing. The oracles tell Ceaser to wait another 1000 years or so.

In Erie, contruction of roads boosts the economy as villagers have an easier time getting around than ever before. Several more opposing clans are defeated by the Irish.

In Germany the city of Hamburg is established. New educational reforms allow them to understand their Polish neighbors for the first time ever. The continuing development of beer also allows for a very happy populace.

In Carthage, a new leader greatly expands. He meets the Numidians and Mauretanians to the West, while encountering only minor problems to the East.

In Anatolia, Lydian sailors attempt to settle in Crete. It's hard work but they manage to set up a perliminary colony on the easternmost tip. Back home in Sardis the Lydians keep expanding, and have met the Athenians to the East.

In Poland, the Polish have begun to master the German tongue, but they still call them Niemcy. Much is going in Gdansk, which the king is determined to make as beutiful as a city can be. It becomes the Western equivalent of Kyoto, and many call for it to become the new capital.

Kilwa Kisiwani has attacked Zanzibar, the tiny island nation which has recently set up colonies on Kilwa shores. The Kilwa are making progress, but it's rumored that Zanzibar has reinforcements.

The Mali kingdom attacks the Songhay in Western Africa! Mali forces heavily outnumber the shocked Songhay and are heading straight for the Songhay capital of Gao.

The Babylonians expand South and try to establish the city of Ur. However this is already the capital of Sumer, so they decide to name it Uruk instead. To the North the Assyrians are a constant problem, trespassing Babylonian boundaries frequently.

In Thrace, a rift occurs between the Thracians and Macedonians. In the meanwhile, the city of Byzantium is settled in the Southeast.

In Norway, the Norwegians continue to annex the surrounding barbarians. They also establish a colony in a place called Denmark and try to convince the natives to expand eastward. This doesn't work however and the natives have begun to get suspicious.

In Southeast Asia, the Khmer finally reach the sea. Times are good for the little civilization as the barbarians in the North have also been defeated.

The Majapahit continue to make progress against the barbarians around them, with an increased number. Several strategic locations were capture in the last several decades.

In Srivijaya, great times of prosperity occur. The discovery of copper leads to the development of bronze by Srivijayan coppersmiths. Expansion west leads some to talk of civilizations across the waters.

The Xia continue to expand against the neighboring barbarians and eventually conquer them whole. The Xia are probably the strongest civilization in Eastern Asia, and their great project is going along splendidly.

We are insulted that you think we would join your empire on request. All relations between our countries are closed.

From Macedonia
To Athens

We agree to a pact of non-agression.

From Frankreich
To Germany

We'd agree to an alliance.

From Bohemia
To Germany

No thanks. We'd settle for a non-agression pact right now.

To Lydia

We'd agree to a merchantmans alliance.

OOC

I promise future updates will be better. For now, know that NPC stats are not updated, and I'm not sure if the front page will be ready right away. It should be good tonight, ok?

The Sumerians were beginning to be a nusiance to the Babylonian Empire. What rights did these Barbarians have to interfere with our superior nation? A messenger was sent to ask the barbarians to withdraw their men. What will the answer be?

To: Assyria
From: Babylon

Move your forces out of our territory! We are backed by Sumeria! If you refuse to acknowledge our request and do not accept, you and your people will suffer!

- Grow Army
- Expand north
- Send a messenger and armed escort of three men to ask Assyria to leave.
