its funny how many people change the f in my name to ph

but even so, why do they hold toledo? did we vote on michigan holding toledo?

also.... will u wait for tennessee or no?

Because the majority of those who voted on it said Toledo goes to Michigan (and because I like playing around with state borders, like making Alabama and Mississippi into one state. Gives it more of an alternate history appeal. :) ). Wait for TN, he gave orders last turn so I assume he is still playing.

Edit: Why don't you change that to Iosef Stalinator? :p

General Strom Thrumond:

Georgian General Strom Thurmond knew his army was far superior to that he was going to face off against. He knew that it was his duty to extend the boundaries of the Confederacy. But there was a gnawing fear at the pit of Strom's stomach. He feared the Injuns that ocupied the Alabama Territory. The Appalachain and Cherokee tribes were known for their ferocity in battle. In fact, Strom had spent the majority of his adult life fighting the savages. He had lost countless friends to them. Strom shook off the memories of his earlier battles with the Injuns, and resumed the direction of his army.
"Brigadier Field, keep your dragoons in order. I don't want them starting any more fights," Thurmond barked. There was no time for memories of the past or doubts of the future, Gen. Thurmond had to worry about the present; and at the present he had an army to lead.

PEACE BE DECLARED

The CSA and USA have signed peace. All attensions now draw north.

DIPLO

From New York
To Britian:

We now take back our former offer of peace.

General Robert E Lee

After Virginia was assigned the duty of commanding the overall forces of the confederacy, one man was the obvious choice. Robert E Lee had fought in the revolutionary war alongside George Washington, and was a good personal freind of his. After the revolution they remained in contact and lived nearby each other in virginia, both owning large plantations full of slaves, cotton, and tobacco. Robert E Lee was at Washingtons side as he lay on his deathbed, and was one of the last people to see him alive. When Virginia seceded from the Union, Lee was torn. He could either remain loyal to his state or his state or his country, but ultimately decided that the ties to his great state were worth more than that of the Union. Lee signed up in the Virginian army immediately after war was declared, and was given command of the Virignian army in Pennsylvannia. He commanded the army with diligence and respecting leadership, his men obeyed him unquestioningly with no need for discipline. Lee personally led the assault on the great city of philadelphia, even at protest of his aids and advisors. He easily outmaneuvered the inferior pennsylvannian army and seized the city with minimal losses and very little damage done to the city or the townsfolk. After his successes in Pennsylvannia, Lee was granted command of the entire army of virginia, and when virginia was appointed to command the CSA's military Lee was promoted to four star general, and commander of all forces.

Robert E. Lee wasn't even born yet(or maybe a baby). Who you're looking for is his dad, Light Horse Lee

To the USA
From the President of the Confederate States

We will have peace

President Dawes met with the General Lee, and promoted him to the Rank of Field Marshall. Field Marshall is the highest rank of the land. Therefore Field Marshall Robert E. Lee is able to take charge of all armies.

To all Confederate States
From the President of the CSA

While Robert E. Lee is from Virginia, he commands all Confederate Armies. However he must work through all seperate state legislatures to operate their armies. Keep in mind that the fate of the Confederacy will require some sacrafices from time to time.

To Georgia
From the Confederate President

While we recognise your wish to enlarge your state, please realise that the Confedracy would be better served with more states. Therefore Alabama and Mississippi should be allowed into the Confederacy without hindarnce or annexation from other Confederate States.

I'm back. I was keeping away from this yesterday because my head was swimming from everything that happened (and it still is). I therefore have two minor requests:

1. Can somebody straighten out for me exactly what's been going on for the past two days?

2. What is it that I'm supposed to decide? (I might have read it, but since this thread hit me like a ton of bricks...)

From New York
To Union:

is any one contributing to the Continental Amry?

To: Dawes
From: Georgia

There is no reason to put pointless restrictions on our states. Doing so is a direct attack on states' soveneignty. The Georgian people now see the true colors of the man they elected.

To Georgia
From Kentucky
While this is not our affair, Dawes means to make sure that no state is more powerful then anyother.

Specialist, you have to decide wether you want to join the Union or the Confederacy.

And when did you guys break up the state of Mississippi? They won't be too happy about that...

Update later today, since I'm lazy.
