Stop Play

OK, the save is sitting open on my computer. But if I would need to reboot I would have to reload it. It is already 5 hours open. I have not got beyond the preturn diplo screen though
 
IIRC, you can safely close the save akots. As long as you haven't comitted any combat, I don't think it is any problem. After all, we open the save to look at build queues and whatnot.

This spy thing is not good.

Is it possible to tell us how long you think this may have gone on Rik?
 
He never had access to this forum. I don't see why the savegame needs to be held.

I informed FortyJ about the situation. Though I wouldn't know what anyone can do at all. I mean, he'll probably acted on his own.
 
He definately had access to the ISDG secure section. I've caught him in this thread (and I have a screenshot of that).

Here is the screenshot (with the name made invisible). notice the Asterisk (star). TF hasn't read his PM yet. I'm waiting for that.

BTW he is banned 3 days from CFC. I'm having TF remove his assess to the ISDG forum.

OK, I woke up but it is 6am here, so just post what is going on and when I can play and are there any particulars as how handle the game. I'll go to sleep a few more hours. Game is still open and running. :)
 
We must ask FortyJ to get acces to C3B forum and watch if this guyys spread information to C3B and wheter or not it was team policy.If it was a spy send by team it should hae seriour reprecussions to that team.
 
That would mean retirement for sure. CFC, CDZ & CGA would go to the final.

But I can hardly imagine C3B would do this. I don't believe in conspiracy theories, especially not with a team as big as C3B. At least someone would tell us or FortyJ.

What is important now is that this person won't tell C3B about this. Though...is that possible? With MSN, mIRC... :undecide: Damn, this stuff is complex!
 
Well, Rik, that screenshot doesn't really help if we can't see the name...it could be just anyone's name there. But if you PMed TF and 40J, I'm sure we can solve this (though like Matrix I doubt C3B would go to an extreme of sending a spy) here..
 
Actually ,there were some thing's i noticed ,and i'm sure Emp Napoleon noticed it to ,that they knew some some that were strange that they actually really knew that.

Something smells really fishy about this case ,and this on such a strategic moment.Btw can we know who's the suspect in question ,i feel as team we have a right to know. And yes espionage information could have passed on in many ways ,and C3B can errase possible evidence.

They are a heinious team IMO ,got few respect for them ,think if they get trough to the next round we should inform other teams of their reputation.

Emp ,i think you should talk about this with TheCat in private ,since she is more become a castaway in her team maybe she could witness thing's about C3B.
 
Yep, a witness would be good. So far, since there is little proof obtained yet, it might be better if we don't start to blame a person provided this person may actually be innocent. However difficult it might be, 40J and Rik/Thunderfall will make sure everything is thoroughly investigated

I'll make the name public after I've spoken to Thunderfall and he agrees. Matrix, Chieftess Thunderfall and all other moderators know the name. Thunderfall left CFC about 21 minutes before I found this alleged spy, and he hasn't been online since.

I'm not accusing this person yet; I just found him very very suspicious. BTW, I've never heard of the guy, he has never posted in our forum.

If you want to discuss this in a private chat; I suggest to do it with me in our room ( #demogame_cfc_isdg ) in 4 hours. (19:30 GMT).

I hope I've gotten Thunderfall's response by then.

Does FortyJ have access to our forum BTW ?? If he does I'd like him to have a look at this thread.

What if they keep it to themselves, and it is a one person job. That one person will be able to predict our moves and win power in C3B.
 
@Emp: IMO, we should not talk to anyone at C3B now and let the investigation proceed first. But all these possibilities can be a real option probably.

Matrix, akots, Pegster and I had a good chat in our chatroom with very interesting information. It looks very serious. The ball is now with Thunderfall and FortyJ. Unfortunately neither of them have read my PM's yet.
The CFC-part of the investigation seems complete, I obviously have no jurisdiction at C3B or the UN.
If there is news I will let you know. But it seems this will not be easy nor quick.

1 thing I do want to share; the IP-address of the alleged spy is the same as that of a high ranking C3B office-holder who has a "normal" membership at CFC. As long as I have no green light from either 40J or Thunderfall I will not publicly name the alleged spy, although some are already aware of the name.
