Strange Audio Issue

I am making a mod and so far everything works fine. And I have been working on modules to use with the mod. For some reason none of the audio works now for the mod (even without the modules in it). Now, I don't exactly notice when it started but here are some of the things I've done between the last time I know the audio worked and now:

1) I edited a UB and a UU that I had in the original. Although I am quite sure that the sound worked after this.

2) One of the guys I'm making the mod for has low graphics settings, so he complained that some of my buttons weren't working properly. So I set my graphic settings to low to check out which ones. Now I am back on medium, but I don't see how that would effect the sounds.

3) I DID make certain changes to the Audio XML, however when I thought this was the problem I took the XML from the old mod (it works perfectly) and put it in the more updated version (the one that doesn't work) and the problem persists. Added to this, NONE of the sounds work, not the intro music, not the ambient music, not the diplomusic, not the slection noises or order noises, not even the clicking sound when you click on something. NOTHING.

The strange part is that the old version (the one I am using to see what unit graphic changes will look like, and if my modules work or not) is working perfectly fine. I can't figure out what is going on here. Has anyone had a problem like this before? (and yes I checked the audio option settings too).

Okay, I've figured out the cause behind it. Basically I am using a Hungary module, when the module is IN the sound works. When I remove the module the sound doesn't work. I don't understand this though, does anyone have an explanation or how I can prevent this from happening?

Alright, no replies, I guess what I am asking is how to add custom audio to a module without screwing with the original audio files (xml files)? Because I've noticed that when I remove the module the sound doesn't play at all since the XML is there but there are no files for it.

Are you sure audio is modular? I really dont know because I havent done a single thing with modular loading.

As I stated in your other thread, Audio XML is NOT module-capable. You can't have modular audio files... they have to be in "MOD" format, not modular.
