Strange bug - the forum thinks I'm someone else :eek:

This morning I opened the civfanatics forum, as I've done hundreds of times before. At first I didn't realize why the site was entierly blue - I'm using the classic style! Then I suddenly saw that the usual "Welcome back, G-Man" that always welcomed me has been changed (see attachment). Ever since every time I enter the site it thinks I'm erez! Luckly as soon as I move into another page I regain my real identity. This bug, although appearantly harmless, is something I think the site should look into.

Can't imagine what the problem is... did you try changing the forum style?

It changed to the style I told him but it says G-Man again. As I said, it only appears when I enter the main index. Another strange thing - it only happens if I come from the main site. If I click on "Civilization Fanatics Forum" when I'm already in the forum it'll display it the way it should.

Both you and erez are from Israel... Maybe this had something to do with that.

Are you sure erez doesn't have access to your computer?

PS: I am just glad it doesn't say Welcome back, Thunderfall. That would be a security risk.

I think he did. It's not really hard to do with a simple graphics editor, or tweaking the PHP/HTML source.

Fortunately, it's only the mainpage...

And yes, I think it has something to do with geography...

No, I'm surfing from home and I go to Nahalal school.... It only happens on this computer though. My newer computer (who's internet connection doesn't work half the time) doesn't have that problem...
