This is a Swedish Stridsvagn M/41 tank reskin based on Sharick's Pz-38t model... Forest Green by Wolfshanze, Camo by Avain.

Since 1937, the Swedish army had been interested in Czech-built TNH tank. In March 1940, some 90 tanks were ordered from CKD firm. They were never delivered as the German authorities needed them for its coming campign in the East. After negotiations with German authorities, Scania-Vabis were allowed to built their own tanks under license. In June 1941, 116 Stridsvagn m/41 SI were ordered. These were delivered from December 1942 - August 1943. Stridsvagn m/41 were riveted, which made construction easier. Just as the Strv m/38-Strv m/40, it was armed with a 37mm Bofors m/38 gun, and the first batch had the same engine as Strv m/40L, Scania-Vabis type 1664.

Animations and Buttons (for both colors) are included in the download.

P.S.

Okay... my first v1.0 effort was really limited (slapping the Swedish flag over the German cross), because I was dead-set on doing a full multi-colored camoflage pattern but fell short in my attempt... nonetheless it was late at night and I wasn't thinking right... when I gave-up on the multi-colored camo, I should have gone to forest green, but was too tired.

I woke-up this morning and went "gee, I wussed-out on that paint job", so I've since corrected it to forest green... still, if anyone wants to try a full camo job on this one, be my guest... the Swedes did do some fancy painting on many of the Strv line of tanks, but it's beyond my limited skills, so I just went with the forest green camo-job... which is still a lot better then my v1.0 attempt, so if you downloaded v1.0, please redownload and use the new version, it's much improved!

Great for those Viking civs!

Okay... I have updated this tank to v2.0, now available for download at the original link... I've changed the paint job from Panzer Grey to the Swedish Army Forest Green. New matching Button as well.

Hi Wolf,

I messed a bit with the original Pz-38t, and come up with a new texture. It's nothing like the original in means of quality, but here it is anyway, if you are interested:

Okay... thanks Avain... the download has been updated (yet again)... this time both Avain's camo scheme and my Forest Green scheme are options for the user... Camo by default, Forest Green by a simple DDS swap... buttons are provided for both.
