Trying to submit QSC-16, the link to the 'submission email' is coming up as an "incomplete" address with hotmail, and it refuses to send it.

rather than "QSC Submission" or whatever - what is the actual email address, can someone tell me. Becaus ethis stupid piece of software wont work with what's there right now.

Yours disgusted with MS (again!)

PS looks like a similar story for other GOTM/QSC addresses, from what I could see.:(

I asked cracker through a PM and he said to submit it to gotm@civfanatics.net. I just submitted it.

I've had woes with Hotmail too, but for me, it's through MSN 8 checking. That really pisses me off and I have to resort to Yahoo to do that. Oh well.

Methinks it would be nice to have a QSC submission form just like the GOTM submission form - nice and neat and packaged neatly.

OK, thanks I'll do it like that.

Maybe a submission form would be difficult because of the need to cater for many different kinds of submissions - from the save game alone to thesis timelines. At least with GOTM all that need be considered is one submission type?

The formal address for the QSC submissions is quick_start@civfanatics.net

Patience grasshopper. Changes are in the pipeline to bring the QSC into the new GOTM site eventually.

I'll try the formal address, since the gotm one failed, with the usual informative microsoft feedback. Would it be asking too much of them to say WHY????? (at MS, not GOTM/QSC)

Thanks

Prior to publising that address I sent a test email from my hotmail account with no problems so I cannot help with your why.... sorry.

Madscot,

I just fixed the email address in hbdragon's post because it should be .net instead of .com

cracker

Oops sorry about that MadScot. I myself did not type that address in when I sent my own qsc; I copied and pasted it from cracker's message. The ".net" and ".com" can confuse me if I am not paying close attention.
