Ravensfire, I have a question for you. Aside from how the law is structured, which I'm sure we all know by now how you feel, there is the issue of the substance. How do you feel on the substance of this proposed article?

Also, you are aware that without this article being passed, there is technically no requirement to end the 1st term, right? I don't think it would come to that, but there may be a sharp legal mind or two who can make something of the lack of "fixed term" language in the constitution.

DS, the game was started too early. Period. We should not have started without a full ruleset in place. We need an Article G - I'm not questioning that. This, however, is not the Article G we need. It's a poor law, and I have not, and will not, support a poor law.

Substance-wise - I still wouldn't vote for it.

• I don't like runner up deputies.
• The idea of the President, or out-going CJ, deciding a tied run-off is abhorent to me.
• Office "left in abstentia" is way, way too vauge given this is an all-in-one proposal.
• Language in general is vauge - "must consider" means - Okay, I thought about it, now the person I really want is .... Poor language.
• No confidence votes shouldn't require a discussion, period.
• No time limit specified on when they (NC polls) can be posted (imagine that - this would allow an appointed official to be no-confidenced halfway through the term!), nor how long the poll is.
• Finally, it reads as if a wanna-be lawyer with a thesaurus wrote it. We don't need that. We need plain language.

This is a bad law.
