This game will use the Scenario from GOTM24 Korea. It will have the same setup as the GOTM with the following changes
1. The playable civ will be the Oda (along with a starting position on the Japanese mainland).
2. Maximum tech rate will be 5 turns/tech
3. All resource locations will be re-spun.
The game may be made available in CivIII, PTW, Mac depending on interest levels and will begin on 9th November.
It is not necessary for you to have played the GOTM previously, but if you haven't then a sizeable download will be required for the new unit graphics (amongst other things). IIRC around 5Mb for PTW and 16Mb for CivIII
This is a first rate scenario, and if you are interested then you can say so here.
A series of three games:
Game 1) PTW game, with modding to make it similar to Conquests expansion pack. A preperation game.
Game 2) Conquests Epic Game. Finally we find out what it is like!
Game 3) Conquests mission, but one rule - You musn't have played the conquest before.
Also find out about the 'Open Closed Succesion Game' style, where a roster of 8 people play the game, in order of who says got it first.
A Deity game featuring Sumer as our civ will start when C3C is available worldwide (mid-november). This game will (as usual now) be played with the Epics spirit. Check it here : KRYS03.

We currently have 1-2 spots available in CTR7, Deity conquest against a (hopefully) powerful endgame opponent (although it's beginning to look like that scenario isn't going to happen--oh well, it's still been a fun game, I tell you what!)
We're in the early industrial, so there's still plenty of time left to play...note that despite the fact that the game is conquest, we are not AW or NOW (or even OW).

Diplo win with the Zulus after 5 future techs. Why the zulus? Because I don't like them, their UU is next to useless for my game start and their traits will not be much use for later on in the game.
I have posted to see if anyone is interested in a Conquests Always war whose purpose is to see how powerful pillaging Armies are.
In this SG, most great leaders will become armies who will go out and destroy the infrastructure of the enemy and thus slowing his abilty to build units and learn new techs. The armies ability to get a pillage without using a movement point sounds very strong. Lets try it out.
