Anyone up for a sucession game?

Balseraphs would be my civ of choice, though it's certainly up for discussion. I just think the the Perpentach's insanity works so well for a succession game *grin*

20 turns, fractal map, ancient era, all settings middle of the road.

Volunteers?

If anyone is unfamiliar with the concept, a succession game is where one person runs the game for twenty turns and then uploads the save game file. The next person in succession then downloads the game, plays for 20 turns and uploads the file.

Players and their order:

Chandrasekhar
Sureshot

I found a place that I'll call home
forever more, no longer to roam
but then I saw, to the south west
a lovely spot, to suit me best!

In the south west lies some gold
South east more, some marble cold
North west brings some fur to keep
But best of all... my beloved sheep

My fancy scouts with their fancy pants
Found the fancy village with their fancy chants
They took a nice and fancy risk
So I can build an obelisk

My merry men went round and round
They killed a lion, found a town
My merry men! come back to me
before a barbarian comes to tea

The sea which rants, the sea which roars
The sea that frolics outside my door
I like the sea almost as much as sheep
I think we'll look into this "Message from the Deep"

I figure I might as well start it, as more people join in they can take their turns.
I'll update the first post with the people playing as more people play.

Well then we'll die horrible deaths when it gets to your turn *grin*

Added you to the list

A granary?
In Jubilee?
Not to be,
According to me.

Merrymen?
I could use ten.
But one to start,
He'll do his part,
So we may settle again.

Branding born,
I've nothing but scorn,
For that godless Civ,
We can hope they won't live.

Resources near,
Though I hold them dear,
A lack of food makes it clear,
Cottages must first go here.

A rush to build a worker?
I stopped giving them my food
The city needs to grow
So first the warrior suits my mood

A risk straight away for the scout
A fine beginning to this route
A hut lost to learning
Brings more risk in yearning
And a giant clout

To accede to my own wishes
Of all my ordered dishes
I create a worker finished
Almost that ill thought foodshed
Though my thoughts are more of bloodshed

So off the warrior roaming
finds the Crazy river foaming
as the lion dies he gains
as the wolf dies he cheers
but his power feels fain
as on the hill comes now the BEARS!

hmm, seems odd that I've been playing this game since it came out and I don't know this, but how do you place the little pointers? Or clear them for that matter.

Which pointers?

I'll do the next part, but I refuse to write a poem...

*sigh* I suppose the poem writing is optional, but it really isn't that hard to come up with some rhyming tripe. I mean it only took me 20 mins to write my post.... hmm maybe that's a bad example.

You've been added to the list.

The latest save, Sureshot has little text box pointers planted on the map, you'll see when you download it.

Bah, it seems I'll have to do year 80-100, I've yet to download 0.15k "/.

I believe it's alt+t, it's Sureshot who taught me to do it.

or Zoom all the way out, and choose "Strategy Layer" the right most button above the minimap, then pick Signs
also, pick Lines, to add paintbursh style drawing, like the drawings i did if you see them

Well, I'm sorry, I haven't played civ in 20 painful days...
