Sucession game - LK4.

I was said that Lee the peacemonger, who is dying for a culture / space race succession game, was busy reading the wall. Our scholars can't figure out what the meaning of it is. For Lee did not seem happy - when he said I know my destiny. He kept muttering - 6 saltpeter, must use it...

1355 AD - Then Lee wonders. What fool built this army? 2 Horseman and a swordsman. Someone inhaled to much incense that day. I hates regular troops to pieces, disband the regular long bowman NOW.

1360 AD - What is this military training exercise Lee keeps talking about?

1370 AD - Gives us more money, for the must upgrade our troops. The settlers are confused. What open arears near Greece?

1380 AD - For it is wealth the drives nations, and Rome makes the switch to Smith's Trading company. What's does Lee mean - take this deal or else?

1390 AD - For he knows the Greeks are weak - A joke of a request, but they give us territory map. Hey, the even give us $31 afterwards.

1405 AD - War with Greece :rocket: Puny weakings - Pharsalos falls, we needed but one Knight. Knossos at least honors us with a fight, killing a Knight. 3 dead Greek horseman, a captured worker.

1410 AD - Rush a temple in Knosos - We want every possible space inside our Cultural borders.
Dead Greek long Bowmen, Athens weakens - No hoplites left.
Rush library in Byblos - May be meaningless, but I want that square to culture lock. More upgrading to Musketman. Sell of meaningless printing press to raise more cash.

1415 AD - I may regret it, but I keep Athens after the odd army takes it

1420 AD - Kill off some crap Greek units. Rush build Horsewater barracks to upgrade those units.

1425 AD - Rush a library in Athens - I want those cultural border expansions. Cornith falls. Athens continues to starve - 9 greeks now.

1430 AD - :crazyeyes: The Greeks are building Magellans voyage. :crazyeyes: Sparta falls. Peace with Greece, yea right. Just gives us Delphi for no work.

1435 AD - Rush build Sparta temple. 7 bucks a turn from the Iroquis, from the Greek spices.

1440 AD - Scratch the Greeks.

1445 AD - Rush build Delphi temple.

1450 AD - Rush build Thermopylae temple.



GOALS -
Upgrade to Calvary.

I think our continents border will culture lock shortly.

We have to be VERY close to a domination victory.

Y'know, I was wondering about that as well. Did the army ever end up having a victory anywhere? Are we able to build the Epic?

Not that it'll matter too much anyway. With our stand in the game I would guess either the next player or the one after that will be able to finish this one off.

I'll be up for a new one if there are plans to do so. I'm glad to see that succession games are so popular right now.

I'm trying to finish up my turn on another succession game at Apolyton. I will be able to play tomorrow, Dec. 29. I will start my turn then. Egypt will dominate the rest of the world. I plan to send an invasionary force to the "other" part of the world. The part that hasn't felt the fury of the Egyptians armies...

Kev,

I agree - very little time left. We control the big continent and the known islands. Most of the conquered Greek cities will expand there borders shortly, and our continent should be almost 100% with our borders.

The key - KEEP conquered cities. We have to be just a handfull of squares from victory.

Ohwell - The troops are already collecting. You have calvary - upgrade those knights and pick a target on the other island. Rush build culture and you might win the game on your turn.

I might be able to play today, but I am at work now, Maybe later. I really hope so.

Ohwell - At almost 60 hours. I can't wait until my next game, and 48 hour max. This is getting absurd.

Good news - I may not even need to play again, provided we KEEP the conquerered cities.

I recently bought a new computer, and put all the civ files onto it, however,
The file id corrupted, and I am getting lockups for almost any program.
If you think it is absurd, then just don't let me into your games!

Sorry, you should have given us a clue that you machine was having problems. This is the type of information you should let people know. I thought you forgot about the game again.

Well, I guess next time I should tell in advance, oops. I just got my old computer working again, I can play if the game doesn't end yet. I would never forget a game I'm in, not if I was payed.

My boss just gave me better hours, and he said I could post IF i had no assignments. I should be allowed to play and post more often, so I won't be missing my turn all the time

Going by Ohwell's last post, it would seem that he's better able to participate. Given that I just played 2 turns ago, I'd be happy to defer to him. If there's no message by tonight (Wednesday) I'll download and play.

Kev, I chose not to play 20 turns, so that you and maybe even Lee can play another round. I played enough to upgrade to cavalry, build 5 more ships, and set them to sea! They are stacked due west of Alexandria, I was going to send them to the mountains above Washington first, as the Amaricans are large enough to maybe give us the victory if we raze them, but not powerful enough to kill us . But send them wherever you want Kev

The army in alexandria did not fit on caravels, and when I got galleons, I forgot about it. Don't worry, we won't need it hopefully, I loaded some cannons and musketeers along with the cavalry.

There is another galleon building south of Thebes, move the army there if you need it.

Lee, you forgot to tell me about how you only had 4 ships! And you thought I could attack just then... Well I got the ships I needed to fit most of the cavalry, thats all that matters
