Suggestions and Requests

I would like to encourage him to (also) add IF NOT-principles (because some earlier technologies actually perform (in certain situations) better than contemporary ones and some technologies became obsolete by more recent inventions)

Could you name some examples?

An example would be runners along the andean road outperforming horsemen but being outperformed by cars (and modern communications).

An acient technology of refrigeration (wet sand) currently receives renewed interest because of eco-friendlyness.

In RFCE you can see flipzones by pressing SHIFT. It's a very usefull tool, so I propose to imported in DoC too.

Moreover, by pressing CTL you can see provinces. Well, there aren't provinces in DoC, but it would be useful to see UHV regions. I.e. the goal says "control X region". If you hover the mouse over a tile of the region X and press CTL it would be neat to see the whole X region.

The worldbuilder has a flipzone viewer.
(Map mode)

The point is to see it ingame without having to enter WB or see the flipzone maps.

The world builder is in the game.

He means that it is an in-game 'cheat view' that allows you to see, for example, spies in your own territory.

Okay that makes sense I guess.

Realism Invictus has that thing where national wonders have different names depending on which civ builds it, e.g. for Rome the National Epic is called Aeneid while for Germany it's Faust. Could we include that? And is there a more elegant way than just giving every civ a unique building version of each national wonder?

Not that I can think of, which is why I never did anything like that. Also why is Faust the German National Epic that makes no sense.

Niebelungenlied?

Faust isn't particularly relevant to German national identity, and I don't even think you could call it an epic.

Oh, if that distinction is made then sure.

Well no, not in Realism Invictus, as they have a... very specific way of defining what does and does not constitute a civ.

One thing that keeps annoying me to no end as I am in the process of merging the 2nd UUB modcomp into my modmod is that the Civilopedia no longer shows which units upgrade to what on their individual pages, which is a minor annoyance with regular units but a big one for unique ones as you can't see how their upgrade path might differ from their regular counterpart unless you actually play that civ.

I agree, will add that back in.

I was trying to make a PR out of it, but I couldn't find room to add it on the units page. So I didn't touch it yet. (Maybe sacrifice some area of the promotion section?)

I think it belongs into the text box, like unique units.
