Sukritact's Suzerainty 1.5 (Beta)

1. No open border but can stay and cross on neutral civs.
2. Units that were already on a tile acquired by other civs were not pushed out of its territory and were stucked. Cant even move out.
3. Religion looks SO AWFULLY buggy with the new CID and SUZ. Also applied with Chrisy's fix. @_@ Cant purchase buildings with faith. The Religion and faith icon cant be clicked.
4. No description on that worker policy on Progress.
5. CS have TXT_KEY_JFD etc.
6. CS have an option to DIPLOMATIC MARRIAGE eventhough Im using Greece. But I do have an Austria neighboring civ nearby.
7. New worker mechanics??
8. Didn't choose Piety policy but spreading religion thru passive means (no missionary etc) looks like being nerfed alot. It takes awhile now even if you have a trade route from a capital to that city.
9. No more claims on CS selection.
10. After adopting government, I cant click the gov icon and see the the government "page".

Sorry... supppppppppperrrrrrrrrrr bugggy as hell. I stopped playing after having a gov.
Or am I missing something here? Like those were working as intended and other mods the reason for the WTFs.

Latest on all of the following.... VOX, Suks(EnD, Suz 1.4), JFD's (CULDIV, CID, RTP [with chrisy's fix]),
No mod civs, all original.

(Double post on JFD's CID. I dont know who's causing who about the bugs.)
 
Please don't just dump a list of errors onto people like this, provide logs, and keep the stuff relevant to the mod that's causing the issue.

Likely something with RTP, But an image of what you mean would be helpful to JFD.

More info please. Where is this happening?

Both should be fixed by JFD in an eventual patch to RTP

Read the lastest CiD patch updates.

Found a State Religion. One of Piety's gaols (in RTP) is to make you need to make more of an effort to get benefits from Religion.

I cant remember it pretty well now but it was a CS sandwiched within my border (Greece), Austria and Pocatello.
Was a cultural type CS.
The txt error was found on top near the personality thing area on the right side.

I'll try to play now a new game and try to further test SUZ on these MODS.

Vox 1 (CP), Suks (EnD, SUZ), EE, JFD (CULDIV, CID, EC)
No custom civs.

No RTP this time. Hopefully there will be no bugs but if it does, then good, so I can report. Will provide complete pics, lua and database next time. Will update back if I do find one.

I dont know for sure who's causing the bug but there was a runtime error from Suzerainty.
Played a game from turn 0 to turn 124 or 125 when I encountered CTD.
My settings on autosave is on every 2 turns so I load the game after the CTD.
So I load the game again.
I chose the AESTHETICS policy, then next turn.
Encountered CTD again. The same situation previously. Making the game unplayable.

I just ignored and continued. More random notices still comming. This is negligible though. Just want to report.

On these current lua and database, the notification was like 95 gold from researching a new tech.

It's Suzerainty, I forgot to add a human check for the notification: so someone else is allied with Wittenburg/Singapore. Will fix in next update.
 
Do you or JFD have plans to make Suz compatible with RTP? Because I want to heavily test it with that mod and make reports of compatibility bugs.
I think EXCE and EE have no probs with Suz.
Was planning to use these mods as preferred go-to-play.

Inherent issue with how CP's policy tag for that works. You get the gold, but the UI doesn't consistently change to reflect that. Nothing I can do about it..

On Plantation and and Farm RESOURCES. You don't get gold for the improvement, but rather the resources. You will notice yourself getting Gold for wheat, if there is any in the empire.
 
Found runtime error on LUA.

My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 5\MODS\Sukritact's Suzerainty (v 1)\Lua/UI/Suzerainty_CS_DiploList.lua:71: attempt to index upvalue 'tDiploListContext' (a nil value)

Sukritact. What do you think about giving militaristic civs a unique unit besides the unique ability. But the unit is also allowed to be build by your civilisation when you are allies not just to wait 20 turns until you get and it is already needed for upgrade.
 
First of all, great idea! Love this mod.

The bugs Im encountering are:
1. the mod is displaying the wrong amount of gold and faith awarded when I first meet a CS.
For ex. I meet a CS and it displays Im awarded 24 faith and 8 gold, when in reality it only awarded 8 faith.
2. when trying to gift gold it says 0 gold will earn 0 influence

I can't really do anything without more info, but I imagine the issue is with one of these two mods conflicting with Suzerainty (Can you even gift gold in CSD?).
Yup that's right and I know for sure (6a) overrides your Lua UI making people think where is my "reward"

Ah, I see. Are you gonna be working on compatibility with those mods?

CSD adds so much to the game.
 
You may give gold in CSD but this is automatically disabled (but changeable in options).
 
any update on this?
I've shifted my focus to Edifices, so I won't be updating this will the final few CSs soon. But it's perfectly playable without any major bugs (excepting when playing with a lot of Vox Populi stuff), it's just missing like 3~ City States from the Mercantile, Fertile and Cultural categories..
