I think we like to read stories of others' games, maybe write story of ours...
Now:
We have Replay at the end of the game - coludn't we get a written summary of the history we have just played? I don't thinbk it would be that hard to make the programme do and generate that, maiing a text out of it...
It could be optional as what to include in it...
like:
- city foundation
- Wonders built
- first building of an improvement
- own wars started - finished
- MPPs with dates (from x til y)
- trade embargoes (from x til y)
- era changing
- government changing
- palace chaging
- Forbidden Palace built (Capitol moves...)
- contact with other civs
- ending of other civs
- military and scientific leaders
...etc
It could go like this:
BC 4000
Capitol Paris founded
BC 3000
The nation of the English met
BC 2750
Building of the first temple in our civilization
BC 2500
Building of the first barrack in our civilization
BC 2000
War against England started
and so on...
p.s.
Well, it could be more storytelling text - it is just the question of programming...
