How do you like the game? Any interesting game stories that you would like to share? I really like the game and play it a lot. How's your thought on the game?

I like the Super Smash series in general, although I found Brawl to be the least fun of all. Too many characters and items I thought. Combine that with the fact that I couldn't recognize half of the pokemon in that game!!

I like the game, even if it often leads to clashing of egos and anger issues. It takes intense mental conditioning to think:

"Okay... so I'm getting my ass beat... but it's just a game...

...I'ma snap this guy's neck while he's not looking."

I liked it, and bought it primarily for the fact Sonic was in it. It re-ignited my love in the character himself. :) Go figure, since usually I despise his voice actor, but I think he did pretty good in Brawl. I guess a few years free of 4Kids stuff actually causes you to recover any talent you might have.

It is fun online, as well, but I think we should ban all people with poor connections from getting on, as they lag it up. They can come back later when they actually have a good connection and therefore the privilege of taking part in such leisure.

My main grievances are the fact Nintendo doesn't intend to patch it and balance it out a bit more. Snake and Metaknight need to be tuned down, while others such as Sonic and Captain Falcon need a tuneup(neither of them should trip, for instance). It's sad Nintendo won't update it, considering the fact modern systems are like miniature computers and thus capable of updating in such a way. No different than patching a PC game.

...But then again, this IS Nintendo. They are like SEGA, but just far more wealthy. And just as prone to dumbass decisions.

My primary characters to use are Falco, Toon Link, Pikachu, Sonic, Wolf and Fox.

I enjoy raping people with the StarFox Final Smash. 2-3 kills in a row!

...I also like raping people with their own attacks via the reflector.

Love the game! My mains are Yoshi, Wario and Lucario. Actually, I just got this game for Christmas, but I've played it with my friends since it came out...

For that matter, I've played the series since the original game, and Yoshi's been my main all the way through. Go figure. Excellent series at any rate!

The original = brilliant
the sequel = average

still fun and all, but far far too many characters. i liked in the first one how you got to know each characters move set intimately - thats just not possible with the latest version.

You might want to talk to someone about that. ;)

I enjoy playing as Ganon the most, but prefer to use Ike. I also enjoy Samus, Donkey Kong, and Browser.

This is odd because I don't favor "heavy" characters in any other fighting game. Go figure.

Dear lord, I hate despise Yoshi. Maybe I never forgave him for Yoshi's Story, but I want to beat him into a pulp every time I fight him.

I've been trying to learn Falco, Toon Link, and Luigi as my mains. Gannondorf is also fun since he is so terrible.

well i am not prepared to waste every waking moment on a game that is still essentially button bashing

Haha, button mashing. Yea, if you're playing someone who is absolutely no good at the game. But even an intermediate player would destroy a button masher pretty easily.

Melee was the best.

Agreed, it was much more balanced. Metaknight and Snake are broken beyond repair in this game. Fox and Shiek in Melee were really good, but never invincible.

You can take out the items you don't like you know :p I did that for a while when I was just collecting CDs.

I hate Yoshi to. Well, that's only because my little 8 year old bro is Yoshi in Brawl 24/7. Mario is the best character for me.

I used to play quite a bit, though I was never any good. Pit was probably my favorite, though I always got a bit too much enjoyment out of using Ike and trying to get off as many smash attacks as I could.

yeah, that was the case on the first game... this one seems to favour random spam of the A button much more

I'm a defensive player myself. Don't aggressively chase your opponents, counterattack and let them shoot themselves in the foot with thier own mistakes.

My top 5: Link, Zelda, Mario, Pit, Luigi.

AHEM

Original=64 version
Sequel=Melee

THEREFORE

64=Brilliant
Melee=Average???

Would you like to change your post?

Melee was good, but I never really got into brawl.
And mostly that is because I can't get used to the wii controller.

Still with Yoshi and Fox, I can put up a decent fight with good players.

We mostly played brawl with gamecube controllers. We only had 3, though, so using the wii-mote was a sort of a short straw thing for us.

I'd probably would play eater
