Bah, Falcon Punch is soooooo easy to avoid. So are most of his attacks. 
Link is far better than Young Link, simply for his superior strength.
My friend plays as Shiek/Zelda all the time. And he's quite good at it.
I don't like Falcon or Ganondorf, they're too slow and clumsy. Though I do think Bowser is decent in some situations, most involving fighting against noobs.

Ugh, I know one person who can win with him... not easily but he did win with Game and Watch a few times. The bloody bacon things are annoying when spammed. I got caught in a stream of bacon for a whoel minute.

One of my friends recently owned everybody with Peach in a tournament. His opponent in the finals was playing as Marth.

I could annoy them silly with the airborne attacks, just jumping around them like a madman and doing that silly taunt thing (Pikachu waves) just two seconds towards the end of the round. Was rather amusing seeing their three characters charge across the level in single-minded pursuit of stopping me from doing it.

That's how my friend beat the final challenge. Float, then attack.
I could only beat Event Match 51 with Jigglypuff, to be honest. It was the only time when "rest" was actually the best option in a fight.
The same friend I mentioned earlier is devastating with Jigglypuff, or at least he used to be. He's a master of flying above someone, predicting their dodge, then 'rest'ing them.
The only way to get away is to shield, then move to the side. Follow up with your most powerful attack.
