what? i don't think they claimed anything in France.
the only other nation that claimed something in France were the arabians.

well, you expanded into France, a region that is already in dispute by both HRE and the arabians. can't you change your claims? i already claimed it in my SoI from the start.
you can always claim the rest of italy (islands)
even worse, you cut me off from the rest of southern France, by taking Paris (!) and Burgundy. i wouldn't be able to connect my empire to France, and my borders would look ridiculous

no, i don't want war with anyone, unless we suffer agression, like our claims are suffering.
it's not your lands, France is France, it isn't Italy, France is part of HRE. Viva le France!
unless you withdraw your claims it will become a no-man land, and if you try to make a attack against us, know that you're the agressor, we claimed France long before you, and we are even being reasonable and opened negotiations with some other countries in the area to assert the territories in France.

so be it, don't expect us to give up our most important territory in France. we already said it was my only way of expansion, and gave up other ways so that the other empires would be able to grow with ease. we break any relations with Italy, our borders are closed to any Italian (this isn't a declaration of war,purely a roleplay matter)

I will need to be able to pass through the strait at Constantinople but i don't see how this could be a problem diplomatically as it solves the Roman worry of English over expansion in that area.

• Why does Austria have 5 claims this turn when i thought the amount allowed was 4?
• Does Ireland wish for a Trade Agreement and/or a Defensive Pact against the Aggressive Mainlanders?

Finally a Clarification on the Technology Upgrade system;
It currently says;

Technology: Will affect many sectors in the game,there is no tech tree its simply calculated by investing in it with this formula Tech investment>25 new tech lvl,
the next level is 25*4,the third is 100*4.......I encourage you to make a story line when you advance a new tech level.

So does this mean the upgrade is;
1 = 25
2 = 50
3 = 75
4 = 100

or that is it;
1 = 25
2 = 25*4 = 100
3 = 100*4 = 400
4 = 400*4 = 1600
