Anyone still got this excited by TA2:Supreme Commander?

Screw TA I want Supreme Commander.

Supreme Commander is TA, Cleric. Or at least the 'spiritual successor' :)

Regardless, the game will be mine. Looks like me computer can handle it - and while I'm not the biggest fan of RTS, it takes a lot for me to be kept away from games with laser-wielding robots.

So you have a £3k Quad core system running two SLi graphics cards and 4GB RAM? im impressed!

Like I said, it's not an actual TA game, but is essentially the same in all but name. Like Football Manager being the proper successor to the Championship Manager series before the spilt.

Ab: Where are you getting these tech requirements? I only took a brief glance from the wiki entry and the PC Gamer review, which admits you'll need a high-end computer, but not quite what you suggested :)

I hope my CPU will be able to handle it since it's an old P4 2.6 ghz.

Calm down, Christ...

I know it's being made by the same team, but they're not making it as a sequel to TA. If they were, they'd have given it a plot that was compatible with the history established by TA. Instead, they've taken the same principles of gameplay and made something fresh out of it. It's a "Spriritual Sucesssor", not a sequel.

Bah, only because the name got bought out so a new story (that is irrelevant anyway) was needed. Everyone knows its TA2 just like Champ Manager.

Kan' I got that from PC Gamer.. its one of the first games designed for multicore...BUT thats at max settings... should be able to run it on lower settings, but they did say its sets a whole new president and marks the next cycle in computer power.

Nope!

Hey if you perps buy the game mebbe we can play online against each other. I'm still on the ledge however weather to buy C&C 3 Tiberium wars or this.

Coming from a huge fan of the C&C series, I have no hope for Tiberium wars. Total Annihilation was one of my favorite games, one of the few RTSs I can still stand after having been ruined by the battles of RTW, I love it, and SC looks awesome, I can't wait, the giant maps, the tons of troops able to have seperate battles all over the map, instead of just focusing on one area of a tiny map, too bad my computer sucks and I can't play it most likely.

Not a sequel! *rips random limbs off*
