I only know of two Swiss painters, but both are extremely good in my view. One is H.R.Giger, the other is Paul Klee.

Klee is one of my favorite artists of all time, and currently my favorite expressionist painter.

Some of his work:

As for Giger, the following is my favorite work of his:

My father was Swiss but when he wanted something painted he just hired someone.

I find this modern stuff strange, but I am an old fart. To me it looks like an effort to be called an artist without actually doing anything artistic, but I've been informed that I have no taste so...better to just ignore me. :dunno:

I guess you mean Klee? He was trying to paint in a way which is similar to children's drawings, but he was no hack at all. His works always show that he was one of the most proficient in color tone use and scales of tones. Also there is usually some ominous feeling in the paintings (for example, in the first one, you can note the three human figures on the lower right and left edges: one of them is split into a figure and a shadowy form, as if there is some narration about a death going on). :)

Another one by Klee:

 Good one Sparky.

Kyriakos, that's some scary stuff if a kid had painted it.
