Sword of Geddon's Tech Icon Requests

A typo for "telomerase". :) An enzyme repairing the ends (telomeres) of chromosomes, allowing a cell line to continue dividing indefinitely. They're a focus for research into slowing or preventing biological ageing.

It's based on an image from a symposion on nanotech, but I couldn't figure out exactly what kind of nanomechanism it is. It looks kinda like a battery, but that might be deceiving.
Hi TLC, nice icon. :) It looks like it's a medical robot operating on a red blood cell. Perhaps. :mischief: Would work well for Nano-Toxins.

That sounds like it would work pretty well for Clinical Immortality.

What's conjoining in context?

Wheres Keroro when you need him..

I think he said its sort of like a joining of the minds via nanotech type thing, enabling a new government type diffinitely.
I'm here when you need me. :) Normally am anyway.
SoG's got it right. It's pulled from a sci fi series by Alistair Reynolds. I recommend them if you enjoy big scale space opera stuff. The Conjoiners, also known as spiders, are effectively a hive mind, linked together by a kilo or so of nanbots in their heads. I'll be happy to bulk out with a civpedia entry if this mod gets close to a release. For an icon I guess a depiction of a network would work.

Still need tech icons for Clinical Immortality...
Been sketching some things out in my limited spare time based on Alex Grey's art that might work for Clinical Immortality. None of these are near done, but since it's your birthday...

Thumbnail

If you see one you like I can polish it up. It's also possible to mix & match. I've got another image to throw in the mix that shows an embryo at different stages of development.

Hi Blue - I particularly like the second, third and fifth ones on the top row. Though, as SoG says, they're all good. Though rather niche. :p

The one on the far right would work greatly. But I must say that you shouldn't waste any of those images and turn them all into tech icons for the community if your willing and/or able, some good stuff there(and disturbing lol)
Thanks. I'll concentrate on the one on the far right, top row then. The trick will be the small icon. It may not be done fast, but I enjoy working on this sort of thing as a change of pace from my other work.

I'll eventually work on some of the others also; I'm sure a lot of you know that pixel by pixel work is pretty time-consuming.

Self Replication

I also needed self replication for a kinda AI-robot mode I'm curently working on with my brother. So I use this one (I believe I have found it somehwere at this forum). It's really great and sort of symbolic ;)

I cannot remember where exactly did I find it (and even who created it  :( ) but if it fits your scenario - I could send pcx'es to you.

I myself have made 3 large tech packs. you may find some stuff within them, SoG. The preview in the thread doesnt have all the icon previewed, but it has some of them.

Here's the Tech Icon for Clinical Immortality:

Thanks for the opportunity to improve my icon making skills. If it's acceptable let me know; I'd like to post it to the April competition.
